The college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities such as smart classrooms, fully equipped labs, well maintained academic buildings. The hostels are also very clean and spacious. The hostel provides access to wifi to all students and the library is one of the best academic building of the college .
The curriculum is well planned and structured in such a way that it will help students to be up to date with latest technologies and languages. The faculty is also experienced and knowledgeable . The grading system is also very extensive and well planned
The college is known for providing placements to its students in reputed industries and provides the necessary guidance and support to prepare for the same too. The average package would be around 6-7
The academic and hostel fee is quite high as compared to other universities but the college offers wide range of facilities and a competitive environment to its students
The college provides the best campus life experience while also considering the safety of its students. They provide all kinds of activities and organise two fest technical and cultural
-
There are a lot of resources and time dedicated towards the construction, upkeep and maintenance of the buildings. There are many new literary blocks coming up with an amazing library. Wifi is available everywhere but there are blockers to prevent web surfing during class hours. The old hostel rooms can be too small as times due to the fact that 4 bed rooms have been converted into 6 bed rooms by adding extra bunk beds. The hygiene of food is not very high (you may find a fly in the water mugs).
The quality of teaching greatly differs depending upon the faculty you choose. However, a vast majority of the curriculum involves going through the presentations during class hours. Some course heads have taken the initiative to include newer content with the help of case studies and intriguing conversations but majority of the content has remained the same over the part years.
The placement office goes to great lengths in bringing the best of the best and a huge collection of companies for hiring. From companies like Google to Morgan Chase to Apollo. Packages over one crore have been offered here. With these huge perks, one must stay aware of the rules that are in place to facilitate it. Additionally, one definitely needs to maintain good cgpa and have great amounts of luck to do well.
It is a good place to be at when it comes to the cost. You get entrance based on categories (stemming from your rank in VITEEE). With approximately 2L tuition per year and 50k hostel fees, it is a decent price range. You get a lot of exposure, meet many kinds of people. The connections you make here are priceless in the professional environment. All of this comes as a package with the academic life offered.
It is an orthodox place. So, girls have an earlier in time from the main gate and hostel. There are manh restrictions on just females which is a drawback. However, the university does put its best efforts in ensuring the safety of the students. Faculties are very approachable and help you figure out the next steps after college life. Your proctor guides you throughout the four years as well
VIT, Vellore is known for its lavish infrastructures and widely green campus. It has been building more new sprawling buildings and hostels in the recent times. For eg: the new girl's hostels are nothing short of a hotel with all the necessary and extra facilities and equipment a college student can want. VIT is known for its research labs as well, here all the labs are heavily equipped with expensive machines needed to run data for various kinds of experiments. Hostel food is okay to moderate.
I am doing b.tech biotechnology and getting access to the well-equipped labs are a boon. Even in pandemic, the rigor of studying and exams were maintained by our teachers. The placement opportunities are really good if one is capable enough in their field and the curriculum definitely evolves along with the help of our professional teachers who are always eager to share updated information about our field.
Placements for CSE/ECE/EEE/IT are really good with higher packages upto 30-40 lakhs PA but for other fields like biotech, chemical, mechanical, etc it is 4-5 lakhs and wont really suffice the need of an outgoing undergraduate student in today's world. I wasn't part of the placement process myself but I have seen the rigor of my fellow friends and the grilling/ competitive rounds they undergo through. Coding is a plus to a very large extent if you want to apply to software companies.
mine was 1lakh 75K however w scholarships (not by vit) fees reduced to a large extent for me. There are 5 categories for each course, with each category fees increase almost by 2lakhs. I would think my money was worth it in VIT given the pandemic.
Best is that campus is always vibrant, a lot of good energy around. Student clubs are very active, there's always some performances happening in the open air grounds and stages. However, last year, the intake of students was a lot and the campus is way too crowded right now and it is honestly annoying alongside the extremely hot climate here in Vellore- generally is not much a safe place, esp in the nights because it is a small town but there are a lot of good eateries outside campus. CMC is a +
The management at VIT is really bad as there is lack of communication between authorities and it creates unnecessary confusion for students. Its rules are biased against girls in terms of dress codes and leaves. It is a strict college with many a times forced and unnecessary rules but overall a good experience, really.
College infrastructure is so good with all facilities available in both the hostel and the college block which gives the students all requirements hostel and the college block which gives the students all requirements hostel and the college
Academics are kinda good and hectic also which includes all the rubric of the course including externals hostel and the college block which gives the students all hostel and the college block which gives the students all requirements requi
Placements tranning are good with all requirements including aptitude and all traning for the company hostel and the college block which gives the students all requirements hostel and the college infrastructure
Value is money for room, hostel are all out standing
The best if have an enjoying and helping friends it's good
Good with all requirements and outstanding infra and good education with good faculty
Infrastructure of the college is well maintained. Library is quite peaceful and full of various books of renowned authors. College playground is really good. The canteen of college provide many popular dishes. There's a well maintained auditorium in college, where many programs are organised.
Professors are very chill and they teach and explain the concept very nicely. We feel free to ask any doubt in the class. We also have tutorial classes in which problem solving of taught concept is done.
I have been watching our seniors placements and internships. Around 90%-95% of students were placed according to our seniors and now I am hoping for a good placement for me. The internships and training are started early for our batch. Very good companies visit the campus for placements .
It's quite good in terms of infrastructure . it's quite good in terms of infrastructure . Well the academic part should be the priority thing in any college, and it's pretty good in Bhopal .Well the academic part should be the priority thing in any college, and it's pretty.
Well the academic part should be the priority thing in any college, and it's pretty good in our institute.Well the academic part should be the priority thing in any college, and it's pretty good in our Vellore University.
Placements in our college is quite good. Many companies visit our college for the placement. The college prepares you well to face selection process of different companies that visit. I m not sure about salary package.
The college infrastructure is still developing, a new food court is building. The college has planned for swimming pool and more sport facilities.the hostels are good.lh2 has 4 lifts .there is Central block ,two academic block.
-i am study computer science engineering.the college focuses on placement and training from 3rd year.there are several clubs and chapters in vitap for skill enhancement.there is criteria for attendance if you are 9 pointer you are exempted for min criteria of attendance.
Placement is offered at good rate.companies like Bosch comes.for placement they ask Data structures, Operating system, database management system, computer networking, object oriented programming and language like java ,c, python
It is worthy,if you are planning for nice placement of package above 20lakha .The academic is good , placement cell is good, the college will give NERD training and planning for more. The hostel fees is genuinely too costly.the food is not good.
Campus experience is nice as all students were toppers from their schools, so there is so much competition, faculties are recruited from iits, nits.regular workshops and events happens .Vitopia2023 is cultural event where celebraties like PV Sindhu are guests and several no of dance event.
-the college is perfect for those who dream achievers
VIT college infrastructure is nice. Campus is big and beautiful, and hostels are well-maintained. Mess food is decent in some blocks but is not that great in others. Hostels don't have fast wifi, and network connection is sometimes poor in academic blocks.
Highly competetive in nature. You need to be consistent to get good marks, and hence get a good placement. 9 pointers have benefits in hostel selection, placements, and attendance relaxation. But being a 9 pointer is quite difficult. Syllabus is up-to-date with latest trends.
Placements are decent. Nearly everyone gets placed, but to get very high packages, you need to study very hard as the population is high. You also need to develop adequate skills. Highest package in 2022 was around 1 cr and average package was around 8 lpa. I don't know about the placement process as I'm still in 2nd year. All the above figures are approximate
It cost me around 5 lakhs per year, including tuition and accomodation. Value for money aspect in this college is just decent as the fees are high and the average package is just decent. Hence not a great return on investment.
Campus life is good if you have a lot of friends. It is located in Vellore, which is just a small town. But it is close to metro cities like Chennai and Bangalore. There are many restaurants and cafes in the campus.
Good college
VIT has nice college infrastructure. Campus is quite beautiful, and classes and hostels have all the facilities we need. Labs are also good and you can work on research projects also. But the hostel wifi is very slow and due to the large size of the campus, you need to travel a lot. You have the option to take a bus, though, but it is paid. Mess can be very good or bad depending on your academic block.
Academic life is not that hard in VIT if you're willing to put some input. The syllabus is doable, you just have to be consistent. This gives us some time to pursue other things as well. Many people in college get the time to learn coding despite being in Mechanical branch. The subjects will be helpful for placements as well as studying abroad and exams like GATE. You also have the option to apply for Grade Improvement in subjects, and can clear Backlogs on weekends.
Placements are good at VIT. Nearly everyone gets placed, and you can also apply for off-campus. A lot of my seniors got placed in 15 lpa+ offers all over India, and some of them got work from home opportunities as well. Average placement in 2022 was 8 lpa and highest was 1.2 cr, which was offered to 2 students. Many students are also working on creating jobs through startups. The alumni network is very strong, and VIT's brand value unlocks the door to many opportunities.
It is good, and the spaces are clean as well. Classrooms are having smart boards over which the professor can show the slides for the better understanding of the students.Wifi is limited to academic blocks and hostel.
Curriculum is a bit outdated in some of the courses, overall it's pretty decent. Honestly, the quality of teaching depends upon the teacher. Some teachers are so good they can make any topic interesting for the child, some are just bad.
Placement especially is non core branches are good, but due to the massive student intake, there is infact some competition for placements. Many big companies including Microsoft and Amazon also hire here.
It's decent, not the best value for money, but in a private space it's holding it's reputation. Course cost per year here can range from 2 lac to 5 lac depending on which category you have been selected to.
Campus life is really good. You get all the facilities to play sports, hang out in the campus in the evening. It's good. There are technical and cultural events too, which boosts the overall morale and the atmosphere of the campus
