Yes, the college is well equipped with all the facilities and have better infrastructure as well in classrooms, labs etc. We have proper smart labs, digital and modern labs and even gyms as well for both boys and girls. We have both indoor and outdoor sports space and hostels for both boys and girls. The living area is clean and the food in the mess is really good.
I am currently studying B.Tech in CSE Core branch because it provides a better scope in future with the maximum success rate and placement. The way of teaching is really very good and the interaction between teachers and students is also there, which boosts up the confidence. Every semester, our curriculum is updated and developments are made too. It makes me job ready, because it gives me a practical knowledge to deal with the real world solutions.
The placement of VIT is well known, it provides placement to all of their students with an average package of 7 lakhs and total of 100% students gets placed. The highest salary package which was offered this year was about 70 lakhs and it goes for B.Tech CSE with specialization in AI and ML. The placement process is really very easy because it gives us a back support from the college professors as well. The college is really supportive at all the steps and guide us well.
For my course, I pay approx 2 lakhs per annum as the tution fees and same amount as for the hostel fees and mess charges included in it. I feel it worthy because it prepares me for the over-all challenges of the future endeavours and gives me a better scope to earn money in future.
College campus is really very good and gets the mix-up of all the students from different regions, which gives us a better scope of learning as well. Students can actively take part in learning activities, sports activities and even computer activities too. Everyone is very supportive and they will guide you at every step and it is really at safe place without any ragging issue and all. It can handle emergencies with medical rooms at each floor and fire extinguishers as well.
Nice infrastructure, all the facilities are good and eco freindly .the living spaces are clean and food hygenic. A hospitable and well maintained hostels, classroom and sport centres, and yes it has all the necessary facilies and equipment
Has a well exposure, the best in the quality of teacher.yes, it makes you job ready, the courses are made according to the job u want to pursue in the future and it makes u a very capable in every situation
One of the quality you look in a college is their placements. And vit is the best of all as a vast companies come to recruit the best from us . The heighst package goes above 60lakh per year, and the average is 12 lakh per year
Well it was about 1.5 lakh per yr but it's worth the money, it makes u job ready
The campus is very good,it is eco freindly and it is a vast campus
The college infrastructure is really good. The the campus is built beautifully and every thing is well organised. The hostels are also in really good condition. And everything is built with modern technology.
The faculty is really good, all doctrate faculty. They help students in every concept, clear every doubt. Also the way of teaching is good they put very less pressure on students. The type of material provided is also very good.
The placement is quite good in VIT as compared to other colleges. The average package is 6-7 lakh per year. The highest package was 43 lakh per year. If u are in core branch then you will definately get a good placement.
The college fees is quite high then other private college. They charge according to tiers and the price per year even reaches 4 lakh. If you are in search of private college with good placement and high college fees the VIT Vellore is best for you. Otherwise there are many good college other than this.
Campus Life is good the atmosphere there is really good for coding and studying. But the problem is that the college rules are really strange. You can't go out after 10 and there is discrimination between the timings for girls and boys. You also can't stay at your friend room.So campus Life is not so cool.
Overall the college is good for engineering and to build good personality and to become a successful person in future. If you ask does VIT Vellore worth? So my answer would be yes as here you can make yourself better and the world best companies will approch you.
The infrastructure of the college is awesome and we are having a separate building for all departments. The labs are equipped with advanced machineries. Having a good library and research centers. The hostel is good providing shared or single rooms for students. They also provide all State food. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The classrooms are having AC and projectors etc.
Most of the faculty in the university are from IITs and having good teaching experience also. The course curriculum is awesome we are having three mid exams in semester and weekly on Monday we are having tests which helps to get good marks in semester exams. The last semester we need to do internship in any company which helps us get ready for industry.
About 80% of students are placed in top MNCs and the remaining 20% are going for higher studies. The highest package is 21 lacs, avg is 10 lacs and the lowest is 6 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are ONGC, HP, Bharat petroleum, L&T, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships in top companies like ONGC, Western lines, and Bharat petroleum, etc. Top role offered in my course is production controller, manager, supervisor, and scientist, etc.
Yes it is value for money for me
Campus life is good many event was organised and many clubs are therefore
It does have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment but limited. So we have studio classrooms which gives us a good interaction and have better sports facilities too. The hostel campus is well equipped with wi-fi and labs have modern equipment too. Our rooms are properly cleaned and mess facilities are also good.
i am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because I have a great interest in it, I use to code from my class 11th. The quality of teaching is good. Some teachers are highly qualified and helps a lot in studying. The one thing I like the most is our curriculum pattern because it is according to the modern way of teaching. It does have all the recent development field. Yes, definitely it makes me job ready because it follows the shiftment process.
As we know, VIT assures 100% of placement and it has different dream offers offered by different company which is really very good and maximum all students gets placed with an average salary of 7 lakhs. This year the highest placement was from Super Dream offer of 75 lakhs and it has been offered to two students. Whole placement procedure was very easy, even from the beginning professors helped students a lot and the college was very supportive in that.
Every year for my course, I usually pay 2 Lakhs approximately with same amount of hostel fees as well. So, for the whole course of four years, its going to be 16 lakhs and its worthy as well because provides a better learning exposure to students and make them able to fight with the future competitions as well. It makes students well aware about the placements and guide the students in a better way.
Campus life is really very good and you will be able to get a lo of mixed cultures there, which is very interesting . You will be able to enjoy every moment in the campus with better friend circle and all the time you'll learn something new. Students can take part in sports, different competitions, quizzes and many more.Everyone in the college will be very supportive and you will find a better environment as well for learning. Surrounding environment is very safe with safety measures.
I want to tell about the sessions and the webinars which I have attended and it really gives you a lot of learnings because they invites those successful people who have already achieved a lot in their career. They interact with the students which boosts up the confidence.
The college have all the necessary facilities available and better environment as well. The digital classes with excellent lab equipments are there and two respective hostels for boys and girls separately with a safe environment. The food availability in the mess is also great and food is available according to the regions as well, whichever they want. It is well-equipped with Wi-Fi and a gym is also maintained there with a large number of accomodation. Overall, all the facilities are available.
I'm currently studying B.Tech from CSE Branch as it expands the way of thinking towards the problems logically and the way of teaching in the college is really very good and if students are facing problems with teacher, they even have option to change it on self only. In every semester, our curriculum gets updated and teachers try their best to explain all the topics in an elaborative way and understandable as well. The practical way of teaching is also there which makes us job ready.
The placements of VIT are already well-renowned because it offers complete 100% placement and there are almost 40% of the students who gets great offers from the companies. The highest package this year is 75 Lakhs by Dyet to two students from CSE (AI & ML Branch). The average salary offered to the students were about 7.5 lakhs and for the placement, meetings were organised for guiding us from the side of college and whole process was very easy. This year Microsoft gave 21 offers to students .
I am currently doing B.Tech from CSE Core so every year fees of ₹198000 is being paid as a tution fees and same about for the 3-Bed Hostel Room as well. So every year it's about 4 lakhs and I feel it worthy because they actually provide education in the practical way and interactive sessions are really very valuable which makes it worth. From the starting of 4th semester only, they start preparing students for the placement and enhance their skills in respective fields to help in CV management.
The experience in the college campus was just outstanding which I have been feared of in the starting but everyone is so supportive there and even there is no single issue of ragging and all is there. Students can effectively take part in different college fests, state and national sports, hackathons are also there. The whole atmosphere is very-friendly and everyone is very supportive and caring as well. For the cases of emergencies, every floor is having Med-Kit Rooms and extinguishers.
I would like to add about the facility which is available in the college for students, choosing their own subjects and teachers through the portal only, it really makes it very convenient. Seniors are very cooperative and their experiences are really very valuable. Many a times, even seniors organize extra-classes for the help of juniors which is so helpful all the time.

Vit has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities and equipment, involving gyms, libraries, laboratories, sports grounds, hostels with ac and non-ac along with WiFi. And the living spaces and the sports room are always kept hygienic and clean and also the food is of good quality.
I'm studying in VIT vellore in the computer science and engineering branch, the teaching quality is A1 and all the teachers give equal importance to all the students present in the class. Yeah the curriculum is always updated on time with all the recent developments in the necessary fields .
The quality of the placement of vit vellore is average . Almost 100% of the students of this college get placed every year. As per the resources the highest package offered was of 51 lacs per anum and it was for a student of CSE branch. The average salary is 5-6 lacs per anum. The college is very supportive regarding the placements
It costs me around 2lacs per year and the placements which are being done here are average making us getting your money's worth.
The teachers are very friendly and supportive. Various clubs and chapters are there which increase our interaction with various personalities and students.
Infrastructure is the only saving grace at VIT. Each department has a different block comfortably accommodating 400-600 people. The library is one of the biggest in India. Wi-Fi is enabled at some hotspots. Sports facilities are ample. Labs are state of the art and modern in every sense of the word. Classrooms are jam packed during the semester.
The faculty is pathetic in VIT. CSE faculty is the worst. Due to the extremely high student to teacher ratio, quality of education imparted is poor. In any given department, there are merely one or two good faculty members out of a pool of 50-60. The curriculum is outdated and redundant. The only emphasis is on finishing syllabus. No new knowledge is imparted.
Placements are generally only significant when mass recruiters visit. Other companies usually are disappointed with the quality of students. This is the situation for CSE and IT companies. Mech and civil students don't get placed anyway. Average package is 3 lakh pa for mass IT companies.
The facilities provided are really good. We have almost everything which an elite college has. From sports facilities to food courts we have everything. Life in VIT is very interesting and fun. We meet people from all over the world and make friends with them.
We can choose our course and subjects on our own. Each branch of students have a given of courses which they have to complete in order to get the degree. Rest lies upon the students how they complete those courses. Students can select any faculty and time slot as per their choice.
Vellore institute of technology is a very good college in terms of placements. The campus is really beautiful. We have a system known as FFCS which stands for fully flexible credit system. Under this student can select their courses and teachers along with the time slot on their own.
Hello,
With a JEE Main rank of 83,472, getting into VIT Mumbai in CAP Round 2 under the OMS (All India) category is not possible. In recent years, the cutoff for branches like Computer Engineering in CAP Round 2 was around 4,500 to 5,000. Since your rank is much lower, chances are almost negligible.
Hope it helps !
Hello Rahul,
Yes, if your VITEEE rank is at 18,000, you have a decent chance of getting a seat for EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) at VIT-AP (Amaravati) campus when you attend the counselling, and take into consideration the overall cut-off ranks at VIT-AP for EEE are higher (i.e. easier with lower cut-off ranks) than at VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai, but realize it also depends on available seats and competition that year. You should register for entertainment purposes, and put down VIT-AP as one of your choices. Check here for more information: VIT AP cut-off 2025
Hello Aspirant,
Having a rank of 9973 in EAMCET under EWS means you can possibly get into Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in VIT-AP; that will also depend on the cutoffs for this year based on from previous year's cutoffs. In previous years, candidates with ranks in the range of 10,000–12,000 have also gotten ECE, especially in the last rounds. The best way is to go through all the counselling rounds and keep some backup options. Check here for more information: AP EAPCET 2025 College Predictor
