The college has various facilities including GYM. playing area for any sports you can think of. Hostels are better than any other college out there, equipped with air conditions. Mess food is flexible you get refund coupons if you decide not to consume. The library is digitally advanced as well with N number of journals Books on varied topics not just related to academics.
I had studied mechanical engineering and I found the rigorous nature of academics very much helpful. there are continuous tests 2 exams before the final sem exam and you have to make a project for every subject to lean through practicals. The curriculum was on par with my friends at IIT. But it's not always the case that you learn from the curriculum.
Yes, the placement process was very much managed by the college. Various companies participated around 150+ just for the Computer Science department. All the students were placed as IT firms take mass recruitment where everyone other than the Computer science branch joins as they get pretty good placements.
The campus size is huge, so there is always something constructive going on around. There are all the necessities available, you get dedicated areas to play cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis and swimming. There is a dedicated hospital for the students with ambulance service. There are a lot of food joints. You get a supermarket by the name of Allmart just outside the college gate. You get a full fledged library. You get free wifi with no data cap. You get all sorts of study labs.
The course structure is the best in all of private colleges. The faculty constitutes of all PhDs. Like all colleges there are a few strict and some lazy faculty members but overall teachers are helpful in every aspect. Here you have a choice to study whatever you want. There is literally so much you can do that it is impossible to do everything. The only reason it is not as high as IITs or Nits is because of student strength which does degrade the overall quality of students/study decorum.
The placements are one of the best in all of private colleges of the country. There is nothing else to say. We get a record breaking number of placements each year. The only reason the average package is not as high as IITS and Nits is because of the hight number of Below average/ not serious students which get into the institute because of the easy paper. These students usually get into mass placements which drops the average package of the year very low.
This college is too expensive for an most of the middle class families. If you get into the category 1 of students the fees is manageable, even category 2 is understandable considering what all facilities it provides and considering it is a private institution. For other Categories 3,4,5 and management class(yeah it does take in students like that but no one tell you that, they outright deny it but it is there) the fees is simply too much for any family to afford.
The campus life for boys is completely different from that of the girls, there are a lot of restrictions in the name of 'safety' but sometimes it feels too much but after sometime all these things become a habit and you stop noticing it. These is absolutely no ragging that happens here. The campus life is good, you will get everything you want just follow the rules and you good to go.
The college if very good if you can afford it. Apart form the restrictions of going out at lights you are free to do whatever you want. The placements are high if you study/prepare properly. These are a large number of conferences and outright coaching for future planning about ones carrier if he/she desires to do so. The campus is safe as long as you don't go looking for trouble. Overall it is a very good college whose only major flaw is the number of students it takes in per year.
The college infrastructure is really good. The campus is very large and is very beautiful. Lecture halls and labs are equipped with latest technologies such as smart boards and biometric attendance system. The hostels are also very clean and comfortable. Each room has its own attached washroom and its the responsibility of hostel authorities to clean each and every room daily.
VIT is known for its good academic structure. The syllabus is changed every year to keep up with the latest developments in the technological areas. Students are given special trainings to become job ready. Teachers are strict about studies but are also very helpful and caring. The only problem is that the workload on the students is too much.
The placements are good. A large number of companies come to the campus every year for placements such as Airtel, Deloitte, etc. The placement packages are also good. The highest on-campus package goes as high as 40 lakh. But the placement ratio is low.
The fee is too much. The fee for one year of my course is about Rs 5 lakh which is very high as compared to the fee of other engineering institutes in the country.
The campus life is good. The college provides the best facilities to the students to promote their overall development
VIT is really good and one of the most reputed engineering institutes in the country.
Classes and labs are good and food is hygienic. There is a very good library. And also good sport centers. There is also good wifi in the hostel. And they are very well maintained. The living spaces are very clean.
Iam studying B.Tech ECE at VIT Chennai because it is a good college. The quality of teaching is very good. The study here makes me perfectly job ready. The curriculum here is always updated with time.
There is a good quality in placements. Almost all percentage of students are placed. I think fifty lakh is the highest package in our college. The placement process is little difficult but you will get a good package.
The university infrastructure is very good and the facilities in labs and sports is great. All kind of sports are available and there coaches to train in you in your interested sports. The library is one of the great thing in university all kind of are available and it is very peaceful.
I am studying B.tech(cse) 2nd year. The quality of teaching is very good for each and every subject there are many faculties so we can choose our faculty and curriculum is really very great. The curriculum they are providing is very useful to placements..
Average package is 4.5 lakhs.More than 400 companies wii come for placements. The University is very supportive to each and every students. University is training every student in aptitude and coding skills .
I am studying computer science it costs around 1.9 lakhs. The facilities in the university and faculty is very good but for a middle class family spending 1.9 lakhs it is little bit hard to them but placements are very in the campus of we are studying good and placed with good package means it's worthy.
Campus Life is awesome you can enjoy in the campus. There is an opportunity to learn new things to get know about new things.Teachers are very supportive they wii help us get out problems and doubts.VIT is a place to learn chance to grow.
VIT has one the best infrastructures. We have seven academic blocks. The classroom are quite spacious and lively. We have one the best library. We hav wifi faciloties. The hostels are clean and spacious.
We have students who perform well in academics. The teaxhers make sure that the students are able to understand the topics clearly. we have several technical chapters which conduct events which help the students to showcase their ideas.
super dream project is one the most important of vit. Here top comapnies come here to recruit students. 100perctenge placement vit guaratee's. The students are well trained for interviews. Salary package of 5 and above.
The fees is according to vit ranking(viteee score)).We first, second, third, forth and fifth categories. First100 ranks have hundred percentage free. The fee may go upto 4lac. The college offers us enough among of resources.
Vot have a wonderful campus life. We have several non academic clubs. We celebrate all festivals. Holi celebration is one the best in vit. vit have studnets all over the world. so its a best opportunity to meet different people.
Vit is one the best college in india. I am proud to be vitian. The clubs and chapters have helped me lot. The collge is 100 percentage smoking and ragging free campus. We have cafeterias and dominos inside.
Great infrastructure, classrooms are spacious and each class contain smart boards, laboratories have good equipment, alot of informative books in library which help in educational and research programs, sports are encouraged and have great ground facility, hostels are well organised and maintained, living space is clean and hygienic food is provided.
Well i am doing B.tech(CSE) information security specialization this course give a complete knowledge about computer programming, the quality of teaching is excellent. Each concept is developed and well explained provided with both theory and practically, definitely this study makes me job-ready.
Quality of placements is excellent and well reputed companies come forward to pick students. Students having above 70% are placed and others are given an opportunity to participate in placements, highest package offered is 60lakhs p.a. The average package is around 15lakhs to 20lakhs. The placements process is easy and well supported by college.
It's costs 3lakhs per year, yes i feel worth money because of facilities and support from the college, the explanation of concepts is good and well understood. Different educational programs are held which motivates in learning.
Campus life is like joy of learning, students can engage in various educational activities, cultural activities, sports activities. Teachers and support staff is friendly and supportive, college located is clean, eco friendly, silent. It is safe and can handle emergencies.
It is fun and great college. Students feel comfortable in learning and many programs are conducted regarding studies.
•Classrooms and all the other facilities including the labs are well maintained and are accessible as per the need of the students all throught out the yer •VIT has one of the best state of the art library facilities in the country,as per my experience.Availability of online journals of various international publishers is such a boon when it's comes to research based studies in VIT. •Living spaces and hygiene are really commendable.
I have almost completed my masters in energy and environmental engineering, which was rendered meaningful by well qualified professors in the department. The option to choose the subjects and electives that we could study makes the learning much more effective. My time at VIT gave me enough opportunities to go abroad and do a project as well as know more about my particular area of interest.
Being a masters student in a Non-IT branch,I would say placements are quite less in our particular area in general compared to the computer science or other branches. But 2 years at VIT gives you enough exposure to be able to find research institutes as well as companies for a better career.
My course costs about 1 lakh a year,I personally feel that masters should be costly compared to the bachelor programs in VIT,dur to the fact that we merely spend just 1 year at the campus and the rest of the course is basically internships and projects. But the one year, the academic things and extra curricular things we get from VIT is of the money's worth ofcourse.
I would say that VIT Vellore is one of the safest campus. It is altogether a different world from the local Vellore environment. The campus is quite active throughout the day and even during the weekends owing to some kind of activities happening 365 days of the year.conferences, technical fests, talent shows, club wise programs,u get to see something everyday. The campus makes sure the celebrate all the Indian festivals catering to the needs students all around India as well as the world.
I would recommend VIT for someone who wishes to study a particular field,in a flexible structure as well as enjoy the other facets of life as a teenager. Obviously, college life is stressful, but VIT gives you lots of opportunities if you are willing to have open mind and the dedication to excel in your life.
Infrastructure is good! Really positive environment. Yes our college has all necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. All the classrooms are well equiped and laboratories have everything. I am happy.
Academics level is ok, but should try to focus on less iq level people. I dont think the curriculum is updated. We learn all the things which are not that much in use. Putting into practise and learning is not there.
Placements rates are high. Every year number of companies come and go .most of the students are placed so the placement levels are high. But most of the companies have bond of min 1 year which is not good.
Everything here is very expensive. From fees to any other expenditure is very high. And we have to pay for our fests ,which actually should be free for the fellow students studying in the college. Everything here is expensive.
Just because i got good friends im happy here. That is the only reason why campus life is good! There are no tours , no good farewell therefore campus life is zero here. Im very disappointed in that case.
Nothing more..just wanted to say that writing 200 words is too much . I request you to make it 100 words as that is more easy to convey. Thank you so much ! Nothing else! Thank you ! Thank you! Thank yoy ! Thank you!
My college is one of the top institution in India to provide the best infrastructure there is. The facilities provided is good value for money. It provide the most modern infrastructure be it classroom, laboratories or hostels. Throughout the campus free WiFi is enabled for students and faculties. All the facilities and surroundings are well maintained and are a good places to be during leisure times. The campus is systematically maintained providing a healthy and hygienic place to be.
I am studying biomedical engineering, the teaching faculty is unique with lot of experience in the subject and are qualified almost all of them being doctorates and post graduates. Since my branch being the most modern branch thus each semester the update the curriculum an bring in new recent topics to the curriculum. And most of the subjects in the curriculum are really work based be it the soft wares we study or the theory subjects.
Our college is mostly known for its placements .Every year they maintain 100% placements, and a separate and efficient department is there for analyzing the placement works. Many companies are invited each academic year for placements. The students are trained according to each companies requirement. The college is very much supportive in the placement process.
The fee structure is okay relating to the facilities provided its good value for money. The college provide many opportunities for students in both academic and extra curricular field.
Since there are many students from all over the world the experience we get from interaction is very valuable and almost all life lessons are taught through this campus life.
Its a best place to learn what you want to learn and what u have to learn in life. The experience is unique.
