College is providing good infrastructure. Even in all the labs we are having lab assistance who will highly guide us to be more perfect in that current lab.The class rooms are alsoo provided with proper projectors...soo overall it's nice.
Good. Proper examinations are done and the digital assignments are doing well.Lectures are providing proper informations when we are in the need of their response.Providing proper studying materials in form of ppts...helps us most.
Once we are completed some certain credits we are able to attend the placements. As we are from the 5 years course we are getting placements after 4 th year itself.Even b.tech students are getting from 4.1 sem

Superb
CHANCE TO LEARN...,PLACE TO GROW
The campus is spread across a vast area f 372 acres. The remarkable aspect of college is the state of the art infrastructure provided for both students and faculty.Fully furnished and well equipped labs decorate every building in the university. Moreover, the campus is fortified with ample features that support diverse events.
College offers 33 undergraduate,36 postgraduate. The structure of the curriculum in all these programmes follows the pattern of Choice Based Credit System with courses offered under core papers, projects, discipline specific electives, generic electives, ability enhancement, skill enhancement and co and extracurricular activities. Credit transfer option is also given.
College has a full-fledged training and placement cell to periodically, interact with the corporate world in order to explore the possibility of training and job placement of students known as PAT. A total of 690 companies visited VIT vellore in the annual placement drive of 2019.
When to compared to other colleges, the fee is a little bit high. But we do get a lot of options to explore in the campus through the courses. It takes a lot of 20 to 25 for all the four years .It is a huge amount for many of the familes.
As for the life inside hostel you are expected to report back to college campus by 6:30 p.m. for boys and girls. The hostel rules are somewhat too stringent for girls and stringent enough for boys if you are an explorer who wants to find out more about city then the hostel is not meant for you. You need to report back to hostel by 7 p.m. for girls and 9 p.m. for boys hence keep that in mind before choosing hostel. Also, after 9 p.m. the college is silent zone.
College is good at infrastructure and academics but as mentioned above one needs to take decision by clearly knowing the rules and fee structure. If you are really an explorer it is suggested for you to stay outside the campus.
VIT has a huge campus spread across an area of about 250 acres. It has all the necessary facilities. It has well-maintained and huge classrooms (non-AC), computers labs, and other science laboratories with all necessary equipments. There is a separate building as a library with all the study material you need. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with wifi which is turned off from 12:30 to 4:30. The hostels have gym too and sports centers. All the building are cleaned timely too.
VIT has all the latest curriculum to make the students ready for the future. The teachers are well educated and experienced. However, a few of the teachers are strict and it's difficult to score. I am studying Information Technology here as i was always interested in computer science. And i have to say that IT faculty is pretty good. So if someone is focussed, they will be benefited with the curriculum.
The placement records have been improving over the past years according to my seniors. The average package for all the courses in VIT is around 7 LPA. And i have observed that the students from IT and CSE department have better chances to get recruited. However, the record is good for other courses like electrical, mechanical etc as well.
VIT fees that i pay for my course is around 1.7 lakhs per year i.e. for 2 semesters. The mess and hostel fee separate and depends on the type of mess like veg, non-veg or special and whether the hostel is AC or Non-AC. According to me this fees is decent for all the facilities and opportunities we are provided. However, the fees depends on the rank one gets in VITEEE and thus the fees increases with rank.
The campus life is fun and good. We have a huge crowd to mingle with. There are various food joints and cafes in and around VIT to hangout with friends. Also there are various clubs and chapters which one can join according to their interests. There is music club, dance club etc. And there are technical clubs like IEEE, Robotics clubs etc too.
Overall VIT stands for its moto i.e. A place to learn, a chance to grow.
The massive 300 acre campus speaks for itself. The campus not only includes academic infrastructures but also sports facilities and outdoor stafiums so as to inclucate all around development of its students.
The teachers and faculty are experienced and hardworking. I currently am pursuing my bachelor's degree in computer science and engineerning here. The college curriculum is robust and is updated every year,
higest - 45 lpa CSE. The PAT office is responsible for bringing in tech giants for palcements and our college boasts of a 100 percent placement record for all its computer science and engineering students.
Being a first category student, the course cost for me wad about 2 lpa.
College is well maintained in all aspects including infrastructure, facilities and equipment. All learning spaces whether classrooms , libraries, sports centersand hostels are well equipped and properly maintained. Living space is clean and the food is hygienic.
One of the best faculty that the graduation college can provide. All the faculty members are very supportive. With all the projects and detailed discussions so that we can have a clear concept of the things we learn
Reputed and a number of companies visit our college for placements every year .Almost each of the students sitting in the placements get placed every year . Students here explore a diverse range of jobs and opportunities including web dev, app dev , finance developer etc
The infrastructure is one of the best things about Vit vellore. Huge with all the facilities . There are multiple options of rooms available according to your comfort and fees requirements . The mess has lot of varities of food and is very clean and hygienic
I am a student of computer science and engineering . The teachers are very supportive in terms of academics and higher prospects of job and education. Curriculum is well updated to the latest trends in industry.
The college ensures 100 percent placements . The highest salary depends on the branch . The average salary offered in my branch is 5-6 lakh/annum . Vit University puts in all its efforts for our placements in good companies.
My course costs 4 lakh/annum . It is quite expensive but totally worth it . The quality of education is remarkable . The teachers are supportive and give their best . The infrastructure is upto the mark.
Safety is a major concern in today's world and its one of the top concerns of vit . Parents have no second thoughts when it comes to safety . The institute has proper timings to get back in the campus and hostel and is strictly followed.
Good, good infrastructure. Good labs and facilities. Ac labs also. Good, very nice infrastructure. Have good facilities. Nice washroom. AC labs. But don't use ac all time. Lift also there. Nice canteen.
Nice faculties. Well educated and we'll trained. Mostly are with doctorate degrees. So it's nice. Nice faculties. Well educated and well trained. Mostly with good degrees. So it's nice. Teach well and understand well
Good placements. Many companies come. Around 400 or so. Almost everyone gets placed. Good package also. Some companies take only girls. Give good package. Don't worry, work hard and you'll get job from vit
Yes, nice
Not very good
Yes my collage has all facilities.we will be given 50gb per month and we have grounds for each and every sports and hostels room were really good and we have very clean environment and we have best sports equipment
I'm studying cse group as it has more demand and it has most demand in vit and curriculum will we updated upto date and we have good faculty sessions. Going on and we have good faculty who are educated and PhD holders
Since I'm second year I don't know about placements and most of my seniors has been selected for clg palcements and they were good at placements and we get most of the top most companies and we have three different types dream and super dream are more attention
199000 for my year course And yes
I you an arrear you have to pay minimum of 6000 to 12000 rupees for an arrear which is the worst part of our clg rules even for 1 credit you need to pay 12000 as an arrear amount
No nothing
You can't think of anything much beautiful than this campus. It doesn't looks like a mall or highly classy kind of foreign university though but the environment here for a student to study and develop themselves quite amazing. Lush green and clean tidy and highly amazing technology based functioning like biometrics checking everywhere, A1 class labs and workshops.
Quite cooperative teachers and a lean syllabus. Students have access to FFCS rule for their semesters i.e. they can choose their teachers and subjects and time on their own. Multi-dimensional curriculum is provided to every student to excel in every field.
VIT Vellore is doing quite good now and improving in the placements quality. 14 students received the highest package this year and upto 500-600 people received a package more than 10 lacs. The highest package was 41.6 lacs and the average package was 6.5 lacs.
Totally worth it. You won't even feel a single penny to be getting wasted. So so so sooo many opportunities this college provides you each day you wake up you have a challenge ready. You grow each and every day here. The tech fest Gravitas is amazimg where you will see some of the amazing vehicles and projects the students of VIT have worked on. And finally Riviera the cultural fest, the biggest fest in South India and 4th biggest fest in the nation. You can imagine the quality of our fest now.
I will not say very amazing but it's fine. You can't perform PDA here, they are very strict on this and they avoid girls and boys interaction but it's not like you can't even walk or spend time with any girl. You are free to roam anywhere with anyone.
VIT Vellore is an ongoing and improving college. It stands better than some of the new IITs and many of the NITs aswell. It is progressing every day. It ranks amazingly in the NIRF ranking and stands the No. 1 private engineering college there and recently it has achieved the title if Institute of Eminence by Govt of India. And a best place for a student to develop his skills and network. Come to VIT, It has so much for you!
The college has various facilities including GYM. playing area for any sports you can think of. Hostels are better than any other college out there, equipped with air conditions. Mess food is flexible you get refund coupons if you decide not to consume. The library is digitally advanced as well with N number of journals Books on varied topics not just related to academics.
I had studied mechanical engineering and I found the rigorous nature of academics very much helpful. there are continuous tests 2 exams before the final sem exam and you have to make a project for every subject to lean through practicals. The curriculum was on par with my friends at IIT. But it's not always the case that you learn from the curriculum.
Yes, the placement process was very much managed by the college. Various companies participated around 150+ just for the Computer Science department. All the students were placed as IT firms take mass recruitment where everyone other than the Computer science branch joins as they get pretty good placements.
Hello Dear Student,
With a rank of 53,560, you will likely secure CSE Core or CSE with Specializations at VIT Bhopal or VIT Andhra Pradesh under Category 3 or 4 during Phase 3 counseling.
Hope it helps!
Hi,
Yes, in VIT counselling, if your higher preference branches/campuses/categories are not available based on your rank, then the system automatically checks your next preferences in the order you filled during choice filling.
So it is very important to arrange choices carefully from highest to lowest preference because allotment is
Hello Dear Student,
With a VITEEE rank around 1.8 lakh , VIT Vellore and Chennai campuses are generally very difficult for most branches.
You will mainly have chances at:
where admission is still possible in several branches depending on category and fee category.
