I'm Sorry but based on your description, I dont think you are eligible for ACMS. There are few Eligiblity criterias to get into ACMS.

Army college of Medical Sciences , Delhi is associated with Army Welfare Education Society. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. They offer total 100 seats for MBBS. 
Not everyone can Get into ACMS. There are Eligiblity criteria for this. 

 Admissions to ACMS is for children  of eligible serving Army Personnel, Ex Army Personnel and War widows / widows of the Army. The eligible students must provide the relevant certificate as proof of their eligiblity during Counselling. Here are few criterias - 

  • Children of Serving Army personnel with 10 years continous service in the army. 
  • Children of Ex-Army personnel granted/awarded regular pension, family pension, liberalized family pension or disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge, Release/Invalidment Medical Board. This includes children of recruits medically boarded out and granted disability pension. 
  • Children of ex-army personnel who have taken discharge or have been relieved after 10 years of service. 

Adopted/ Step Children and Children of Remarried Widows :

  • Adopted child of Army personnel if adopted atleast 5 years before seeking admission.
  • Step children are eligible if they are born from a wedding where at least one parent belonged to army.

Eligiblity Criteria in special Cases : 

  • Children of army medical corps/ army dental corps officers who are presently serving with Navy or Air Force who have atleast served atleast 10 years in the army. 
  • Children of APS personnel classified as Ex-Servicemen as per Govt of India, Ministry of Defense.
  • Children of APS Personnel who are on deputation and have put 10 years of service in army. 
  • Children of APS personnel whoa re directly recruited into APS and have finished 10 years of service and retired from APS as per terms and conditions.
  • Children of TA personnel who have completed 10 years of service. 
  • Children of members of MNS who have completed 10 years as regular member of MNS or are in reciept of pension from army.

ACMS IS A VERY GOOD MEDICAL COLLEGE WHICH IS RUN BY ARMY FUND.

TO GET ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE FROM ARMY CATEGORY YOU SHOULD BE READY TO SCORE 545+. BECAUSE IT IS A VERY GOOD COLLEGE SO ITS CUT OFF GOES HIGH.


LAST YEAR OPENING MARKS WAS 550 AND CLOSING MARKS WAS APPROX 470 FOR ARMY CATEGORY

Admission to MBBS Course in Army College of Medical Sciences is done on the basis of marks in the NEET UG entrance examination.Admissions are carried out by GGSIPU.

5 percent seats are reserved for Defence category. Defence mean Army, Navy and Airforce only.
You must fulfill the eligibility criteria and will need complete documentation to apply for reservation.



Seats are also reserved for wards/children  of  eligible  Army Personnel.
The admission to the ACMS is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel, Ex Army personnel and war widows/widows of the Army.
However, children of Navy, Air force and paramilitary forces are not eligible for admission agianst the seats reserved for wards/widows of army personnel's.

These are the documents required:

  • It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualifications for admission. However, having been called for written test or counselling does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by the ACMS at the time of Counseling and also later during the scrutiny of documents by the University. If a candidate is found to be ineligible at any time before or after the commencement of course, the University/College reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature without any refund of the fees/charges paid.
  • Additional Documents required to be produced in Original alongwith a photocopy at the time of Counseling/Admission to ACMS:
    • Proof of eligible category (Submit Certificate as Applicable)
    • Original & Photocopy of PPO, Service Record/Discharge Book, Identity Card/Serving Certificate and Dependant Card
    • Willingness Certificate

Dear Manish, The admission to the ACMS is for the children of eligible serving Army personnel, Ex Army personnel and war widows/widows of the Army.     • Children of APS personnel classified as Ex-serviceman as per Govt. of India, Ministry of Defense, letter No 9 (52)/88/D(Res) dated 19 Jul 89.
    • Children of APS personnel who are on deputation and who have put in 10 years of service in the Army.
    • Children of APS personnel who are directly recruited into APS & competed 10 years of service and who as per their terms and conditions of service, retired from APS without reversion to P&T Department after completing their minimum pensionable service of which 10 years was in the Army.
    • Children of members of MNS who have 10 years service as regular members of MNS or are in receipt of pension from the Army.
    • Children of TA personnel who have completed 10 years of embodied service.

Last year cutoff (rank based)  in Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi under army category was 19613 and  for army defence category it was 368069.

 your marks are too low to fetch you a medical college like acms, as the cut off generally goes in the range of 530+ , but you may get any private college of your state .
