      B.Tech Information Technology - Batch of 2029-01-01
      3.6

      Academics

I am pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology. The academic environment is good, and most faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The teaching methodology includes both theoretical and practical learning through assignments, presentations, and laboratory sessions. The curriculum is regularly updated and covers important concepts relevant to the industry. Students are encouraged to participate in workshops, seminars, and technical events, which help improve their skills and overall understanding of the subject. Overall, the academics provide a strong foundation for higher studies and career opportunities.

      College Infra

The college infrastructure is average and meets basic academic requirements. Classrooms are spacious and have necessary facilities, but some equipment and maintenance need improvement. Laboratories and the library are useful for studies, though resources could be updated. Hostel facilities are decent, and Wi-Fi is available in most areas. Sports facilities are present but limited. Overall, the infrastructure supports learning, but there is scope for modernization and better maintenance.

      Campus Life

Campus life is enjoyable and provides a balanced mix of academics and extracurricular activities. The college regularly organizes cultural festivals, technical events, sports competitions, workshops, and seminars that keep students engaged throughout the year. Students get opportunities to interact with peers from different backgrounds, helping them build friendships and teamwork skills. The campus environment is safe and welcoming, and various student clubs encourage participation in different interests. Overall, campus life is vibrant and contributes positively to personal growth, learning, and overall college experience.

      Placements

The placement opportunities at the college are average. Several companies visit the campus every year, offering jobs in different domains. The training and placement cell conducts aptitude tests, mock interviews, and skill-development programs to prepare students for recruitment. However, the number of companies and high-paying offers could be improved. Students who maintain good academic performance and develop additional technical skills have better chances of securing placements. Overall, the placement support is satisfactory, but there is room for improvement in terms of company outreach and package offerings.

      Value For Money

The college offers good value for money considering the quality of education, infrastructure, and facilities provided. The course fee is reasonable compared to many other institutions offering similar programs. Students get access to laboratories, library resources, extracurricular activities, and placement support. The faculty members are supportive and help students develop both academic and professional skills. While there is still room for improvement in placements and certain facilities, the overall experience justifies the investment. Students who actively participate in academics and skill-building activities can gain significant benefits from the course.

      Academics

Although without a good and eye catching infrastructure, Asansol Engeneering college focuses the best on the academics . The faculty are supportive and well trained, but there are more scope of teaching that the college can adapt for better growth of students in every aspect.

      College Infra

The college infrastructure need some development as of it don't have a positive energy to be involved with the surrounding. Although it focuses on natural landscape but it has not achieved it , it need some improvement and development with the infrastructure and designing. There are no Ac in any classrooms, but it is slowly improving my making boring classes to digital classes .

      Placements

The quality of placement is good , maximum number of students gets opportunity to apply for traning and placement . The college mainly focuses on the knowledge and skills developed by the students, which determines the types and quality of placements a student can apply for . Overall this college has got a 60% - 70 % of placement guarantee for the students . During the placement, there are designated faculty who helps in achieving placement opportunities and also helps in the process of placement.

      Academics

The academics are decent with a structured curriculum and experienced faculty in most departments. Teaching quality is average to good, depending on the subject and professor. The college follows MAKAUT syllabus, focusing on theoretical knowledge more than practical exposure.

      College Infra

The infrastructure is decent, with WiFi, labs, library, hostel, and sports facilities available. However, some classrooms and labs are outdated and maintenance is average. The campus is spacious and greenery adds a pleasant environment for students.

      Campus Life

Campus life is decent with a friendly environment and supportive peer group. The college organizes cultural fests, technical events, and sports activities regularly. Clubs and societies provide opportunities for skill development and interaction.

      Placements
