Azad College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad Admission Process

Azad College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad is an affiliated institution, recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), with various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and pharmacy. The admission procedure of Azad College is meant for selecting eligible candidates through state-level and national-level entrance examinations. For undergraduate engineering courses, admissions are mainly conducted through the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). The TS EAMCET is held once in a year and the candidates need to qualify for this exam to be eligible for admission.

The admissions for postgraduates, especially M.Techs, will be based on various national-level entrance test scores such as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET). In addition to these scores, the performance of the candidate in their undergraduate is further considered for admission. The academic year in this college usually commences around August-September and during that time, admission will commence a couple of months before that. The candidate is always advised from time to time to check the official college website and associated entrance examination websites for specific dates and deadlines.
