BA College of Engineering and Technology (BACET), East Singhbhum, is one of the most sought-after institutions for various engineering courses. This college has a well-organised admission structure for selecting deserving candidates from all over the nation. Most of the BA College of Engineering and Technology admission seats are filled through two prime entrance examinations. They are the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) and the All India Entrance Examination (JEE-Main), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The BA College of Engineering and Technology admission cycle almost synchronises with the beginning of the academic year around August-September. The students should visit the official BA College of Engineering and Technology website and the examination boards for information about exact dates and deadlines. This process is carried out for admission through these nationwide entrance examination systems for a fair and transparent selection. Minimum qualification for any undergraduate programme is passing 10+2 from a recognised board with compulsory subjects in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Although specific cutoff marks of candidates are not mentioned, they must satisfy the minimum qualification criteria as set by the respective entrance examinations.
All these steps are incorporated into the application process for BA College of Engineering and Technology:
The college provides a total of thirteen courses.
Several B.Tech programmes are provided by BACET: Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The BA College of Engineering and Technology admission to these programmes is based mainly on the results of the JEE-Main or JCECEB examinations. The college has a complete intake of 183 students into this narrow body of programmes, with distributions having unique branch-specific allocations.
These new B.Tech Programmes include Emerging New B.Tech Programmes:
Jointly based on performance in JEE-Main or JCECEB, admission to the programmes also follows the same process.
They offer diploma courses such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Each diploma programme has an intake of 60 students. The BA College of Engineering and Technology admission process for diploma courses may differ from that of B.Tech. Candidates should check with the college for detailed information on specific requirements.
BACET also offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programmes of 60 seat each. The BA College of Engineering and Technology admission process for non-engineering programmes varies. So, interested candidates may contact the institution for further detailed information.
The BA College of Engineering and Technology admission is based on entrance exam score and merit based.
