Baharagora Polytechnic, is a technical college approved by AICTE situated in Baharagora, Jharkhand. It conducts diploma courses in many engineering disciplines and has a systematic admission process. The process of Baharagora Polytechnic admission is mainly determined by the entrance exam conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).

JCECEB exam is the foundation for admission to every diploma course run by Baharagora Polytechnic. The process of common admission across all diploma courses run by the polytechnic guarantees deserving students from all over the state access to technological courses in the institute. The exam is meant to test the aptitude and knowledge of the candidates in applicable subjects.

The application process for admission in Baharagora Polytechnic includes the following steps:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: The course has a sanctioned intake of 180 seats. Baharagora Polytechnic admission is made on the basis of JCECEB entrance examination. The candidates need to clear this exam in order to become eligible for admission to the diploma course in Mechanical Engineering from Baharagora Polytechnic.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: The institute admits 90 students under this programme. The Baharagora Polytechnic admission process is the same as that of Mechanical Engineering, i.e., the candidate should clear the JCECEB entrance examination.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: The intake of this course is less, with 30 seats. Baharagora Polytechnic admission is provided according to the performance of the candidate in the JCECEB entrance test.

Diploma in Computer Science Engineering: The polytechnic has 60 seats available for this course. Similar to other diploma courses, admission is offered based on the results of the JCECEB entrance exam.

Baharagora Polytechnic UG courses Admission Process

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): Baharagora Polytechnic also has a BCA course with 100 seats.

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): The institute offers 60 seats for the BBA programme.
