Bishnupur Public Institute of Engineering, Bishnupur Admission Process

Bishnupur Public Institute of Engineering (BPIE), is one of the premier technical colleges of Siromonipur, Bishnupur, West Bengal. AICTE approved, the institute has several courses of diploma level in engineering branches. The admission procedure of BPIE aims at choosing suitable candidates for its five full-time diploma courses.

The admission policy at BPIE is simple and accessible to all deserving applicants. The institute adheres to the admission procedures prescribed by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development. All the diploma programs have admissions that are determined through the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO), a state-level entrance examination for admission into diploma courses offered in West Bengal.

Although the dates can be different every year, the JEXPO examination is usually held in the months of April-May, followed by counseling in June-July. Application Process

The application process for admission to Bishnupur Public Institute of Engineering is as follows:

1. JEXPO Registration: First, candidates need to register for the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO) via the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development's official website.

2. Entrance Examination: Candidates should appear for the JEXPO examination on the specified date. The examination usually evaluates the candidate's understanding of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates

  • Category certificate (if required)

8. Fee Payment: Once the documents get verified successfully, the candidates have to make the payment of the stipulated fees to book their seats for admission.

Degree wise Admission Procedure

Diploma in Civil Engineering: There are 180 seats in this program. It is on the basis of the rank of the candidate in JEXPO and then counseling organized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development. The complete fee for the course is Rs. 65,000.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: With 180 seats intake, this course has the same admission procedure as Civil Engineering, on the basis of JEXPO rank and further counseling. The total fee for this course is Rs. 90,000.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This course has 120 seats. The admission process is the same as other diploma courses, depending on JEXPO rank and counseling. The total fee for this course is Rs. 95,000.

Diploma in Computer Science and Technology: Providing 60 seats, admission in this course is also granted based on student performance in JEXPO as well as counseling. The complete fee for the course is Rs. 95,000.

Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: The intake of this course is 60 seats. Admission is as per other diploma courses, employing JEXPO rank for seat allotment at the time of counseling. The course fee is Rs. 65,000.

If you are a good student it is good for you. Because all the teachers helps their best to give you knowledge. But you should have capability to take it. Most of the teachers are very good. Seminar, daily classes going on regular basis.
