36 MonthsDiploma in Textile Technology is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Students have passed the SSLC (10th Standard) or Equivalent examination
- Minimum 35 marks in each subject of Mathematics and Science
Eligibility for Lateral Entry (III semester)admission:
- Passed the 10+2 exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics/Biology.
- 10+2 Science (with Mathematics as one of the subjects) or 10+2 Science with a Technical Vocational Subject.
- 10th + (2 years ITI) with an appropriate trade in that order shall be eligible for admission to second-year diploma courses of an appropriate programme.
Admission Details
Admission to diploma courses is based on merit in each category of reservation. Of the total seats, 50% are reserved for various groups of society. The remaining 50% of the seats are allotted based on the marks scored in the SSLC for technical Courses. For admission to non-technical courses, the total marks scored by the candidate in SSLC are taken into consideration.
