CIMS Bilaspur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has hostel facilities available on the college campus. 1. The Institute runs a hostel each for the boys' students. 2. Nine hostels, including PG Hostels, are available & functional on the campus. 3. The hostel buildings with spacious rooms, lounges, and recreation rooms have TV sets in each of the hostels. 4. The Student representatives run the mess in the men's hostel under the supervision and guidance of the warden.

Nine hostels, including PG Hostels, are available & functional on the campus. 3. The hostel buildings have spacious rooms, lounges, and recreation rooms with TV sets in each of the hostels. 4. The girls' hostel, to ensure the absolute safety of the inmates, is fenced properly & secured. 5. The Student representatives run the mess in the women’s hostel under the supervision and guidance of the warden.

Medical facilities are available on the college campus for students and staff. A new ward consisting of 20 beds has been established to take care of all patients and special attention for Cerebral Malaria, Hepatic Encephalopathy, Encephalitis and Multi Organ Dysfunction.

The college Library is one of the best libraries in the country and has a sufficient number of textbooks in all subjects books reference books, national and foreign journals in each subject, online journals, Internet Access Wi-Fi, and many more. It has more than 9000 books and 70 Indian & 30 foreign journals available as of date. Separate sitting arrangements for students (100 + 100) and faculty members are available. Every year the library subscribes to a large number of specialized foreign. Apart from the textbooks and reference volumes, Apart from the library, every department has its departmental library facility for their staff and PG and Internet facility in each department. 

The college has sports facilities for all students. Indoor games, Table Tennis, Badminton and outdoor game play ground is available for Volleyball, Football & Cricket.

The college has an Internet, a computer center, and other IT-related facilities available on the college campus.

 It has a world class air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1500. The hall mark of this structure is its interior design and BOSE sound system. CIMS Bilaspur has a large new auditorium hall with facilities of LED/LCD projector which is used for annual function, cultural activities, conference, workshop, examination & recreation purpose.

The campus and library are covered by wi-fi internet connectivity. CIMS Bilaspur has a leased line with high-speed broadband bandwidth to provide round the clock 24x7 Internet access to students to enable them to remain connected with the information superhighway. Each computer has a separate power back up. The Computer Lab is also equipped with LCD Projector and Screen.

The college has equipped labs attached to all the departments of CIMS, which help the students to develop psychomotor skills that are essential for the effective practice of medicine.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has been allotted 100 seats for MBBS. Two well-furnished, spacious classrooms have been allotted to them where the students sit in two sections.
