The college provides all the necessities for the students.Infrastructure is really amazing ,hostels and classroom are well maintained.Campus is neat and clean, library, canteen ,wifi connectivity is available for All the students. I feel I had the best environment for my studies.
Teachers and staff are good, classes are held on daily basis and staff is also helpful. There are regular doubt session held.Curriculum is up to date and keeps updating in case of any changes. There are also regular doubt sessions held.
Placement was not so good at that time as Covid-19 came. But before that placement in our college was average like approximately 30 Percent of the batch gets placed with an average of 5-6 lpa. Placement Cell was also there but it was of no help as due to covid no official placements were there.
The class rooms are clean and Infrastructure is also updated comprising snart Boards in the calssrooms. Lab facilities are also there for respective departments.Hostels are good, rooms are given on a sharing basis and mess is inside the Hostel which provide good food.
Curriculum was of good quality and up to date with the developments in the field. The classes timings includes 9 am to 5 pm Monday to saturday. Classes are held routinely as per time table. Additional classes as well are held for Special subjects. Overall academics is good.Teachers and lab Attendant are not supportive at all, m.tech students takes lab almost and trouble students.
Placement activity is not so good its average.Placement Cell has been made and now its improving, placement sessions are held every week to improve students soft skills.Placement percentage for last year was 40 Percent of total students. Avg package Constituted of 5-7 lpa.
Not at all.
people over there even though classmates are not cooperative too much partiality. Everyone only demotivate. If you fight this you can fight anything. No one help freshers not even seniors .Too much hectic schedule to make a student dull and irritating.
The class rooms are clean and Infrastructure is also updated. Lab facilities are also there for respective departments.Hostels too are good, rooms are given on a sharing basis.and other things are also good and well maintained.
Teachers and staff is good. Classes are held regularly which consists of 1 hour. Doubt session are too held for clearing doubts. Overall academics is good in the College.Lab assistant too are helpful. Labs are also held Acc to timetable. Curriculum is updated regularly as per Norms.
Placement activity is average. Placement percentage for last year was 40 Percent of total students. But now placement Cell has been made and now its improving, placement sessions are held every week to improve students soft
The college infrastructure is quite good. All the necessary facilities and equipments are available to the students like big classrooms, sports centre, library with various kinds of books, canteen, labs with equipments. However, washroom are not clean and well maintained.
Currently, I am studying agricultural engineering in my college. The quality of teaching is not good. Some professors are quite good but some of them are not really good and don't make efforts. Schedule of classes are so hectic and makes it hard to focus and study properly.
The quality of placements for agricultural engineering at my college are average. There are some good companies coming in for on campus placements but there is a lot of competition here. The average salary package is 4-5 LPA.
My course cost 1 lakh per annum. I feel like we do get our money worth according to the facilities and equipments provided . However, so many things like academics, infrastructure, etc can be improved.
The college campus is very big for students to roam around and have fun. There are many events happening in campus for students to engage in. The location is not safe for girls especially. Locals have full freedom in campus. The students are from different places.
The college infrastructure does have all the necessary facilities and equipments. The classrooms are big with many seats. However, not all classes are neat and clean. They are pretty average. Labs does have all the equipments but they are old and can be well maintained more. Living spaces are clean. Washrooms are not clean though.
I'm pursuing electronics and communication engineering currently. The quality of teaching is average. I feel like professors do have knowledge but they aren't able to convey it properly. Exams are quite hectic so exam pattern can be improved. Labs should get new equipments.
The quality of placements is moderate only. The average package ranges from 5-6 lakhs. Although, some stable well did companies do come with good packages for students. Teachers of department is very supportive but overall, college is not so supportive of the students. Also, it all depends on students.
My course cost around 1 lakhs approximately per annum. I feel like I do get my money's worth however, some improvements can be made in academics and hostels. And it's quite good if you pay around 4 lakhs for 4 years for a course and get around 5-6 lakhs package.
There is no campus life for girls actually. Cause, classes are from 9-5pm and then girls have entry time 6pm in the winters and 7pm in the summers. So, it's hard to hangout and enjoy outside for girls. However, enjoyment can happen in hostels. There is quite space to roam around with a market having all necessary materials. Location is not so safe because of locals roaming all the time.
The college infrastructure does have all the necessary facilities and equipments. The classrooms are big but not clean and tidy. The labs are old and not all of them are functional. Hostel is also not in good condition. Mess food is not good.
I'm studying electrical engineering from this college. The quality of teaching is moderate. It can be so much improved. Professors do have knowledge but are not able to convey properly. There is communication gap. Change in exam pattern and way of learning sould be there.
The quality of placements is quite average. Average placements placing can be 5-6 lakhs. The dean is not so supportive of the students. There is more importance given to attendence and theory study than practical and training.
My course cost around 70 thousand per year. feel like things can be improved a lot with the amount of money which is being paid like more practical way of learning, more events, etc. The facilities and equipments are fine but can be maintained better.
My college campus of fine only. It's quite greenery and calm and area to hangout with friends. There are many events happening for students to have experience and enjoy. However, it lacks safety because of locals here, especially for girls. There is a market nearby and also a hospital.
The college has only smart boards available and only in the conference rooms, not in the classrooms. Wifi is not available in the college. But most importantly, the washroom, they are not at all good. Forget about infrastructure, the washrooms do not even have handwashs in there.
I am currently studying in the Electrical department. The faculties are fine in there. Only few professors have the proper knowledge of their field, others are just hopeless. About their teaching methods, some do use smart boards but its not at all effective for the students. They just slide down the ppt, and want students to grasp all the stuff, but truthfully it just makes the students more sleepy and confused. Improvements can be made.
Honestly, though I am a person who is studying in here, I still have no proper idea of the placements of my branch. Even my friends who are in frequent touch with the seniors, they have no clue at all. Though I have heard that banches like CSE, IT, they do have good placements. Its just that the Dean is not so supportive for the welfare of the students. For her, maintaing the attendance is far more important than training and getting the job.
Things can be improved a lot with the amount of money that has being paid. Mainly, the washroom and the wifi facilities. Forget about college, they do not even have proper wifi facilities in some wings in hostels. Some hostel bathrooms done even have hangers in them. About the academics, it can also be improved. At least, new equipments can be brought in the labs, so students can in reality do some practical experiments.
There is no campus life in here. It's true that its like a jail for the girls in here. No fests, no events, just nothing... The college does not even consider it important for the students to have some fun events. Talking about safety, the place is definitely not safe for girls. Here, boys can do anything, but for girls, you can just stay in hostels. Even, the professors and other staffs and warden blame the girls if they have faced any kind of harassment in the university.
The college does have some basic necessary facilities. But, it severely lacks in maintenance of hygiene. The washrooms are in so terrible condition. The classrooms are fine but can be better. There are equipments available in labs but most of them don't work anymore.
I'm currently pursuing computer engineering in my college. The quality of teaching is moderate and can be improved. The exam pattern can be changed and the way of learning can be improved by focusing more on practical way. The labs can be made better also.
The quality of placements at my college is quite good for my course. There are many big and stable companies coming for on campus placements. The highest placements went over 20 lakhs. However, the college dean is not so supportive.
My course cost around 70 thousands per year. As much as it is quite good to study a course in just 70K per year, I feel like I am not getting my money's worth. So many things at college can be improved for students.
My college campus life is not so good. Although, there is so much area to roam around and enjoy, there are so many restrictions for girls. We cannot leave our campus without permission and have to be at hostel at 7pm (in summers) and 6pm (in winters). There are some events happening in campus but those can be better.
My experience in the college is basically varied related to every building I ever entered in the entire campus. Ccf and library are the best places to study. Stadium is well equipped with sports articles. Almost labs have necessary requirements but still some are needed to look after.
Curriculum and pattern of examination needs to improved and matched with the level of other institutes. Classes timetable needs better arrangement. Many professors are just literally greatttttt. Thanks
Placement scenario of pantnagar has recently improved with an increase in base placement packages. Thanks to the Directorate of placement and counseling and e-cell teams. Many new companies are approaching and name of pantnagar continues to rise.
Pantnagar is value for money. Where people spend more than 10.lakhs for their completion of btech degree, we get the same in 4 lakhs which is really awesome. Bare minimum accommodation charges are just perfect.
Campus life depends on the very individual. I personally feel here girls are at a low point because they are needed to be inside of their respective hostels by 7 pm in summers and 6 in winters refraining them from a lot of activities. This is not the case for boys though they are free.
College has good infrastructure. There is greenery all around the campus.Classes and labs are well maintained and have good network and internet facility. The college has seperate hostels for boys and girls with facilities such as food services, Wi-Fi, sports, etc,
The faculty here is experienced and well qualified and supportive too. The professors are bit strict too. You need to work hard to get good grades in internals as the college is very strict in terms of attendance.
Placement is not too high here. The placement of my college for Computer Science Engineering is average. Many MNCs visit the campus for placement but the package is not so good. You need to work hard for getting placed.
Yes, studying here is value for money.
