Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a Council/Board recognized by the State Government / Central Government concerned, with Individual pass marks (in both theory & practical wherever applicable) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Computer Application) having minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for Reserve Category candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.

College Infrastructure

I was fortunate to study under the guidance of some of the best professors at the college and even though at times due to illness I happened to fall behind, they were supportive and helped me make up for time lost. I was encouraged to think practically, my ideas were listened to and my mistakes were forgiven. However, the placement scenario at the time of my graduation was not very good The college had good laboratories, trained technicians, laid emphasis on diagrams in practicals and took regular viva to.embed concepts.

College Infrastructure

Our college infrastructure is beautiful and attractive. It has all the facilities. Canteen and food are highly hygienic. Our college has all the necessary facilities and equipment which make it more attractive. All the things are well maintained here. The laboratories of EE department are well equipped with latest technology based on electrical circuits. The infrastructure are well maintained and the food are hygienic. Our college library provides books for students by bus at different location.
