Our college has good infrastructure there is library along with computer labs and air conditioner in library , auditorium is nice and cricket ground and NCC ground are well developed canteen food is amazing and pocket friendly
Our teachers are very friendly they provide good knowledge every faculty were nice and helpful ,Different course are available in the college and the course curriculum was based on various subject like biology chemistry and atomic energy genetics etc
College has provide placement for student.. many companies MNCs such as Zomato, EY ,DE Shaw, NatWest and many more , and it took interview from this student and offered a package 3 to 4 lakhs annually, students become eligible and first semester onwards
Infrastructure of dyal singh is good , old building is okay okay but new academic science block is built amazing. Labs are well furnished and have AC facilities. College has electricity and water facilities everytime. They have library too where you will get every book for your course
I did bsc computer science from there and I must say teachers there are the best in the du , they will help you and clear your every single doubt . They are like your friends. I was fun being taught from them. Curriculum is well updated and it included recent developments in the field
Only few students opt for placement after bsc cs . In our batch only 20% went for placement drive rest went for masters. Placement cell is there to assist you. Average clg placement is 3 lpa while highest was 11 lpa but it was for economic hons
Yes it is
Support staff and teachers are helpful
Infrastructure of the college is okay okay, the science block is well maintained. Labs are well equipped. Library is also very big and you can find your course books there. They have medical facilities too in the college.
I completed BSc mathematics from there. Best thing is that teachers here so supportive ,they literally helped me from day one and they have good knowledge. Course curriculum is relevant. So you can get a job if you pay attention to your classes.
No placements were offered after BSc maths . Only few students got placed in some institute or company . Average salary was 2.5 lpa. One student got 5 lpa . Rest of the students opted for masters after graduation. You won't get much help from college for placements
Value for money i would say as fees was very nominal
We had many societies in the college so amazing
Average infrastructure they don't have some facilities in the college and they don't have hygiene living space also,no wifi in college, they have labs in the college but need to improve equipments quantity
Academics is good and the faculty also very supportive to the students but the college need to appoint more faculty members (limited Faculty is there) , college don't even provide aptitude classes also
College is providing placements but not that much great, every year maximum 20-30% students will get placement from the college and they don't have preferred percentage for placements, and packages will be 2-4 lpa
For my point view this college is charging fee very affordable because I am paying 10 to 11 thousand per year and the college don't provide any scholarships, they are charging less fee so I feel its worthy
They need to concentrate on hygiene of the campus and they will arrange some programs for students and they need to concentrate on sports also because faculty is not there, the college is near to road only
As of my experience campus is big building only but they have to improve little things, they have parking space also for students vehicle, drinking water facility is also there, small library is there for students ,college will conduct some competitions like boxing for boys and they have NCC and NSS for students they will conduct some programs like science fair and workshops also for students encouragement and also in college ragging is not allowed for anyone students election also will be done.
Dyal singh has a great infrastructure. It has two grounds, one for ncc and one for football. Evening college has a separate building. Classrooms are well-maintained, it has one amphitheatre outside for cultural activities. Canteen food is available at affordable price and hygiene is maintained. Library is big and has two floors. No hostel and medical facilities available in college.
I studied bsc hons in computer science as i wanted to become a software developer. Some teachers were new so they struggled while teaching but all the teachers were hardworking, they gave lectures professionally. Curriculum of our course were latest and included all the necessary requirements for study and future perspectives.
Placements were not that much active, students has to get internships and jobs by their own. Teachers helped us getting internships. Many students applied for off campus placements and got average salary of 8LPA in companies like L&T, deloitte, etc.
I have done my b.com (hons) from dyal singh college. college infrastructure is old and not so well-maintained by staff. classrooms are decent with no smart Borad, Wi-Fi, AC. college libraries are not well maintained and does not have e-book access. Canteen food is quite affordable but not hygienic. Toilettes are not clean and does not have any sanitary facilities.
I had done my graduation in b.com (hons) from this college because our college fee is quite affordable. The faculty comprise highly skilled education. college administration is very poor no one is there for you to listen. Administration process ness to improve. curriculum of the college is not updated no technological knowledge is given to us. so what we study does not make me job-ready.
The placement quality of the college is very bad. As I didn't get any placement or internship from college. Around 20% of the students get placement from college. Average is CTC is 5 lakhs but not for arts students and highest CTC is 20 lakhs. College does not focus on placements at all.
The total fee I pay for b.com (hons) is 14000 for 3 years. As comparing fee and course so it is worth of money. Even students do not face any attendance issues. College do have many sports activities so students can make career in sport at quite affordable price.
Campus area is good. Near college you get many places to hangout. Many political events happened in our college. College area is safe, but crowd of the college is not so good. Teachers are supportive but lack of practical knowledge. No industrial exposure is provided to us, so college life is quite boring. College do handle emergency situations.
As college got NAAC grade A and comes under Delhi university, so you can choose this college for studies if you need good college with good college, so this college does not have it. college do organize many events in campus. college do have many strikes that hampered our classes, classes get cancelled and we didn't get any update, so it waste of our time and money. College should provide ERP system for students, get washroom clean +toilet sanitary for girls which is the major issue at my time.
College has a good infrastructure, as it has two entry gates, two grounds, one for ncc and one for sports, classrooms with old benches but has smart boards, two computer labs in new science block , good washrooms, canteen area is also nice, clean and food available in affordable price. Wifi is available but only in some areas.
I did b.sc computer science hons. From this college to enter a tech field, teachers were supportive, as no batch passed when i entered the college, our course was new on the college, yet teachers gave us true practical knowledge. Curriculum was upto date and the course makes you industry ready as it is one of the most trending career.
Placements cell were there but as in my batch students got job by their own, means off campus, no in campus placements were provided but teachers helped us by organising webinar, and interaction with teach experts
The college includes a highly developed infrastructure that includes well equipped library which has one floor for reading and one for books shelves, classrooms with smart boards and projectors, computer labs, one amphitheatre, one big ncc ground, canteen with sitting area and food is hygienic. No wifi available, no hostel available.
I completed my graduation in Bsc computer science hons., it did help me in getting job and boost my knowledge for future. The teachers are really good and supportive. They tried to gave us detailed knowledge about topics. Curriculum was balanced witj both practical and theory knowledge. Yeah this course helped me in getting job.
As in my time there were no placement opportunity, i cracked job outside the campus but teachers provided workshops and seminars to get helped, but whoever got the job from the college cracked average salary of 5LPA. Placement cell department was helpful too.
good infra great building sports ground... amphitheatre and auditorium also present ... classes were also clean... corridors were also good ... and ncc ground was great and rare to find in DU. also in new delhi.
great academic record and faculty was also nice... several teachers were above average in teaching.. but some were below par and skipped classes also hence it was average and not excellent as per my exp.
placements were great but not not.for arts students it was only for science and commerce students as per me. Hence being an arts students i dont know much about placements... but commerce students did got placements
full.value for money... located in lush green area... and in new delhi.. it was easily accessible... this was a great plus point... hence it was value for money... and great college in DU... and no regrets
great life students from diff backgrounds came tohether and we learnt about diff cultures interacted with students from.north east also and also from haryana hence it gave us diverse perspective... politics was also vibrany
The infrastructure of the college is appreciable. The classes are large and much spacious. There is Wi-Fi available at the library but some network issues near ncc ground. All labs and the library are air- conditioned. Overall, the campus is good. Evening campus is also connected with morning campus. The crowd and ambiance are amazing. The canteen is also great but there are no hostels on campus. There is one big ncc ground and one sports ground and the one basketball court behind the campus. Many bamboo houses are there on the campus which looks so pretty. Overall good infrastructure.
I was pursuing bsc(homs) computer science, I chose this course due to its industry demand and for good IT corporate jobs, and yeah the quality of education was quite good, teachers were really hardworking, they provided us good support as much as they can, The topics and practical classes in the course are very helpful for the future and makes students industry- ready, curriculum is also updated, our college ranked first in this course.
Placements are not have been held at this college but many got jobs off campus with this degree easily. In the B. SC computer science course, the placements are comparatively better with 80% placements. Top companies are HCL, Deloitte, and infosys while many less known companies also offer good jobs. Students also opt for off- campus internship. The top role is of a data scientist.
