East West School of Architecture, Bangalore Admission Process

East West School of Architecture has admission process for the students of B.Arch offered by EWSA. However, talent-hungry students with a passion for architecture are admitted into the program because this new institution has a focused architectural education program. Affiliated to the Council of Architecture as an approved college for the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program at EWSA, it continues to pursue the admission procedure as the admission procedure of the institution.

Admission to EWSA is almost completely through national-level entrance examination scores. As per the policy, the main examination scores required were those obtained from two major ones: the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) administered by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). Such examinations normally take place in the first part of the year, and NATA is typically scheduled to be conducted in several sessions.

The B.Arch program offers a government-approved intake of 20 students into the institution per year. Overall, the student intake of the institute is 58, which shows that admission to EWSA is selective. A student should do his or her best in either NATA or JEE Main to be admitted into a prestigious institute.

Application Process

There are several stages in the application process for East West School of Architecture, Bangalore. 

1. Entrance Exam: The candidates need to enroll themselves in either NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2 for B.Arch). It is always better to write both the tests in order to increase one's chances of getting admission.

2. Application Form: EWSA usually announces the start of the application post-entrance examination results. Candidates have to fill in and submit an application form that is generally available on the official website of EWSA.

3. Document submission: Along with the application form, documents that a candidate has to attach include:

  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
  • NATA or JEE Main score card
  • Proof of age
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other documents notified by the institute.

4. Application Fee: Candidates may probably have to pay an application fee; in what amount and in what form will be mentioned on the application form.

5. Merit List: Based on the entrance exam scores and academic performance, a merit list will be made by EWSA.

6. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Candidates shortlisted will be called for a counselling process whereby the candidates shall be allotted seats on the basis of merit and preferences.

7. Confirmation of Admission: Selected candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the necessary fees and submitting original documents in a stipulated time.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Arch: The Bachelor of Architecture program at EWSA is a five-year full-time course. This course is primarily based on the score obtained in NATA or JEE Main. The eligibility criteria for the course include:

  • The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized educational board.
  • Must have scored not less than 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and an aggregate of 50% marks at the 10+2 level.
  • Holds a valid score in either NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2 for B.Arch).

The intrisic part of the selection procedure entails the candidate's score in the entrance examination, in addition to his or her performance in the qualifying examination. EWSA, therefore, is on an approved intake of 20 students to its B.Arch program, thus ensuring a focused and personalized learning process.

There's nothing a complicated procedure for taking admission in b.arch colleges.The minimum eligibility required to admission in barch colleges are mentioned below-

1)students need to qualify their class 12th with minimum of 50% along with the main subjects i.e,PCM.
