Hi there,

For these marks, the chances of getting a seat in Indira Gandhi Medical College Pondicherry is quite difficult even if the category is OBC.

Please note that these are according to the previous year trends, since there has been a change in seat matrix, we can't be sure about it.

You can check out cut off ranges here: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/jipmer-cut-off

570 is quite a good score in Neet. You know the cutoffs change every year so it is quite difficult to predict. Now if we go through the cutoffs of last year, then it would be difficult to get Gandhi Medical College Secundrabad as last year the cutoff score for general category candidate was 592. But you can expect other colleges such as Government Medical college Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Nizamabad, Kakatiya Medical College, Government Medical college Siddipet etc and many more. You can check the cutoffs here http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana But keep in mind this is based on previous year data ans this year cutoffs may change. I would suggest you to use Neet College Predictor tool to know where you have good chances of getting admission http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

The relevant reservations that are available are:

  • CAP Army: 1%
  • Police Martyr's children: 0.25%

Now if you fall under any of these Categories, you can avail them. Regarding the cut offs, you haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, in 2019, under State Quota, the cut offs for Gandhi Medical College across Categories have been as follows:

General Category: 592

SC: 484

ST: 515

OBC: 505

EWS: 566

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for a seat in this College for 2020, you should score atleast 50 marks more than those mentioned against your Category. College Infrastructure

One thing about Gandhi that stood out to me the most is the infrastructure. Despite being a government college, it has good infrastructure: all the labs are fully equipped. And the libraries are well ventilated, spacious halls providing a huge collection of books. We also have huge lecture gallery classrooms for different subjects where benches and smart boards are in good condition, We also have different grounds for different sports. Boys and girls hostel are in good condition and very hygenic

Gandhi Medical College

College Infrastructure

Our college has a good infrastructure and all the necessary facilities and equipment. Our library and sport centres are good too. The classrooms, laboratories and hostels need to be improved with their facilities and decorum. The food quality also needs improvement.

Gandhi Medical College

College Infrastructure

The college infrastucture can be said as good. We are provided with many facilities like a big library, cool sport centres but we also lag in few other facilities like average canteen arena and not so hygienic food.
