Ganesh College of Engineering (GCE), Salem, as an affiliated college offering several engineering courses. The admission process in GCE is mainly conducted by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) single window counselling system, which allows for the fair and transparent allocation of seats under government quota. The process is designed so that all eligible candidates aspiring for admission to the engineering courses offered by the college are given an equal chance. Counselling for TNEA generally takes place after the declaration of the 12th standard results. Applicants aspiring for engineering in GCE need to register for the TNEA counselling, where granting of seats is based on the rank gained by the candidates and the choices they filled during the counselling. As for the eligibility, students should have their 10+2 education completed through a recognized board. GCE offers eight full-time undergraduate programs in engineering, all of which are four-year Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degrees.
Application Process
Ganesh College of Engineering has opened its application process through TNEA. The following are steps that students wishing to enroll should follow:

2. Go for TNEA counselling: During the counselling, you will fill up your choices of colleges and courses. Make sure Ganesh College of Engineering and your programs of choice are among them.
3. Allocation of Seats: Your seats will be allocated according to your TNEA rank and the choices filled by you. If you are allotted a seat at GCE, you will be given a notification.

B. Tech/BE Programs: Ganesh College of Engineering offers eight undergraduate engineering programs. All of these programs have the same admission process, namely through the single window counselling system of TNEA. The available programs are as follows:
Admitting under government quota allotted through single-window counselling by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) for all these programs-from the admission procedure point of view-is the same. Thus, this makes the admission process standardized and fair for all engineering streams offered at GCE.
I have done my mechanicals here, curriculum is not yet updated for about 7 years, so academic wise it is not good to learn here, because we can't able to learn new developments in our particular field.
