Ganesh College of Engineering, Salem Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Ganesh College of Engineering (GCE) at Salem is an affiliated college offering several engineering courses. The admission process in GCE is mainly conducted by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) single window counselling system, which allows for the fair and transparent allocation of seats under the government quota. The process is designed so that all eligible candidates aspiring for admission to the engineering courses offered by the college are given an equal chance. Counselling for TNEA generally takes place after the declaration of the 12th standard results. Applicants aspiring for engineering in GCE need to register for the TNEA counselling, where the granting of seats is based on the rank gained by the candidates and the choices they filled during the counselling. 

As for the eligibility for GCE Salem admission, students should have their 10+2 education through a recognised board. GCE Salem offers eight full-time undergraduate programmes in engineering, all of which are four-year Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degrees.

Ganesh College of Engineering has opened its application process through TNEA. The following are steps that students wishing to enrol should follow:

• The first important step is to register for TNEA counselling. So have all the necessary documents handy for doing that.
• Go for TNEA counselling: During the counselling, you will fill up your choices of colleges and courses. Make sure Ganesh College of Engineering and your programmes of choice are among them.
• Allocation of Seats: Your seats will be allocated according to your TNEA rank and the choices filled by you. If you are allotted a seat at GCE, you will be given a notification.  
• The next thing is that if you confirm your selection, then you must report to GCE for document verification. Make sure you have all the necessary documents, which are generally required for GCE Salem admission.
• The next thing you must do is pay the fees after verification of all documents.
• You will now be formally a student of Ganesh College of Engineering after completing the above processes.
