The Department of Food Science and Technology provides a supportive environment, combining traditional scientific principles with expert faculty guidance. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of food production, processing, and safety practices in the two-year programme offered at our Bengaluru campus.
In addition to the core curriculum, the programme offers a brief introduction to the financial aspects of the food industry, including accounting, finance, and auditing. This additional insight provides valuable knowledge for those interested in the business side of food production and distribution
A minimum of 50% or 5.0 CGPA aggregate marks in B.Sc. with Biological Science / Chemistry / Food Science / Home Science / B.Sc.(Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) / B.Pharm. / MLT / B.A. Home Science / B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Tech. Biotechnology or its equivalent and Qualified in GAT.
