36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering is a full-time three-year course offered by the GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. The program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants must hold a Master's degree (MTech, ME, or equivalent) in the relevant field. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Architecture, Town and Country Planning, Regional Planning, City Planning, or Urban Engineering is acceptable. Additionally, those with a two-year Regular Postgraduate Diploma in Town and Country Planning with a specialisation in Traffic and Transportation may also qualify.
- Additionally, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech) or Architecture.
