36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering is a Full-time three-year course offered by the GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. The program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a Master's degree (MTech or ME) in a relevant engineering field. Additionally, they must possess a Bachelor's degree (BE or BTech) in any of the following engineering disciplines:
Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Automobile, Marine, Aerospace, or Metallurgy, or an equivalent degree.
