Government Engineering College, Arwal (GEC Arwal) is a fresh institution in Bihar, India. The college offers numerous programs at the undergraduate level in engineering and utilizes a highly elaborate admission mechanism to shortlist the best of the candidates. Admission in GEC Arwal is chiefly based on the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) that is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).
The manner of admission in GEC Arwal is a three-point procedure:
Screening Test: An initial screening on performance by the student.
Main Examination: Candidates clearing the screening test appear for the main examination.
Counselling: Counselling of successful candidates based on the merit list obtained from the main examination.
The academic year generally begins during August-September, with admission commencing few months prior to that. The candidates must keep a check for the updates regarding important dates including the deadline for application, schedule of examinations, and declaration of results.
Eligibility Criteria
Successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board
Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2 and one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject

Online Application:
Go to the BCECEB official website
Registration & Creation of Account
Fill all information in the online application form for BCECE
Upload required documents - passport size photograph & signature
Pay application fee online
Entrance Examination:
Appear for the BCECE screening test at the assigned centres
If qualified, appear for BCECE main examination
Result Declaration:
BCECEB declares the result for the main examination
Merit list is prepared based on the performance of the candidates
Counselling Process:
Qualified candidates will be called for counselling based on their merit rank
Candidates will verify their documents and select their preferred course and college
Seats will be allotted as per merit and availability
Admission Confirmation:
After seat allotment, candidates will pay the admission fee for the confirmation of their seat
Candidates will report to the college for document verification and complete the admission formalities

B.Tech Programs:
There are six B.Tech programs, each of four years duration offered by GEC Arwal. All B.Tech program admissions will occur through the BCECE examination. The programs and intake capacity for each one is:
