Government Engineering College, Kaimur (GEC Kaimur) is one of the contemporary institutions providing quality technical education to its students in Bihar. This college has a very elaborate way of admitting prospective students who qualify to take up any of its engineering programs. This is because the GEC Kaimur admission process is based mainly on the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.
In addition to passing the BCECE, GEC Kaimur admission eligibility criteria for the B.Tech are completing successfully the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics compulsory subjects. Candidates must also satisfy the specified minimum marks set by the BCECE Board. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the BCECE, followed by a centralized counseling process.
Application Process
GEC Kaimur admission procedure includes the under-listed steps:
1. Register for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE).
2. Fill out the BCECE application form which has been provided on the official website for the same.
3. Pay the appropriate application fee as adopted by the BCECE board.
4. Appear for the BCECE on the scheduled date.
5. After announcing the results, selected candidates shall undergo the procedure of centralized counseling.
6. Candidates are then to choose GEC Kaimur and fill a B.Tech program during counseling.
7. If a seat is allotted, the report to GEC Kaimur must be made for document verification and admission formalities.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: Six B.Tech programs are available in GEC Kaimur, with a course duration of four years. The admission procedure for the B.Tech course is specified by BCECE for all six programs.

2. B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (60)
3. B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (60)

6. B.Tech in Networks (60)
Candidates must qualify in the BCECE and attend the counseling process for all these programs. Admission is based on the merit list prepared by the BCECE Board.

I assume yo are asking about GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, Kaimur which is situated in kaimur district of bihar. due to covid 19 pandemic colleges has closed for a long time and there is possibility that it would re open on the month of february. however the final decision would be on college authority. you may contact with college in below address to know about the re opening of college and class schedule:

Yes , Government college Kannur has its own college and campus. It's a public/government college so the fees are also very less somewhere around 60,000 - 70000/- per annum only.
As the campus is not so good but yes the placement matters not the college so if you have a chance to get a seat there . Then you should go.
