Government Engineering College, Sheikhpura Admission Process

Government Engineering College, Sheikhpura (GEC Sheikhpura) is an AICTE-approved institution located in Sheikhpura, Bihar, India. For its B.Tech programmes, it has a merit-based admission procedure. GEC Sheikhpura admissions for its programmes are taken through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE), which is an examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).

The BCECE is a two-tier entrance examination. The first-tier is the screening test, while the second-tier is the main examination given to candidates who pass the first tier. Successful candidates from the merit list of BCECE second-tier take part in counseling, which constitutes the third and last component of the admission exercise.
