Government Polytechnic, Athani Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Government Polytechnic Athani is a technical institute situated in Karnataka. It offers diploma-level programmes in several engineering fields and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Government Polytechnic Athani admissions are offered to the Diploma courses in the full-time study mode only.

Government Polytechnic Athani admission is based on merit in each category of reservation. Out of the total seats, 50% of the seats are reserved for various groups of society. Remaining 50% of the seats are allotted based on the marks scored in the SSLC for technical Courses. The admission process at Government Polytechnic Athani follows Online non-interactive counselling. • Government Polytechnic Athani shall draw the list based on the academic performance and the reservation category of the candidates.

• Shortlisted candidates for Government Polytechnic Athani admission could be called for a counselling session, where seats are allocated based on merit and preferences.

• After the seat has been allotted, the candidate will be required to pay all the fees within the specified period to confirm the Government Polytechnic Athani admission.

Note: Candidates who have passed the 10th Standard Exam conducted by CBSE/ICSE and other states 10th Standard candidates shall produce Eligibility Certificates obtained from the Secretary, Board of Technical Examinations, Palace Road Bangalore. Candidates who have passed SSLC or Equivalent Examination with 35% of marks in aggregate and have completed ITI (2-year course) /PUC II science could apply for Government Polytechnic Athani admission to the 3rd semester(2nd year).
