Government Polytechnic Banka is the premier technical institute of eastern Bihar that provides diploma-level courses in various fields of engineering disciplines. Before applying for GP Banka admissions the candidate should appear for the Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) conducted by the BCECE Board, Government of Bihar. 

GP Banka admissions are based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination. GP Banka admission to Diploma courses is offered in full-time study mode. Government Polytechnic Banka offers admissions in the Diploma in Engineering and Architecture streams.
