Government Polytechnic Bilaspur offers only diploma level courses that too in Electrical, Civil, and Mining Engineering. Government Polytechnic Bilaspur admission to these courses is only possible by appearing and passing the entrance examination. Candidates who pass the entrance examination will be provided with seats in online counselling. There will be a number of counselling rounds for seat allocation depending on the cutoff and seat intake. Government Polytechnic Bilaspur seats are fixed and can not be changed without the official order of the Technical Education Board, Chhattisgarh. 

There is no separate Government Polytechnic Bilaspur entrance examination and admission is based on the marks obtained in CG PPT which is the state-level pre-polytechnic test. • Seats will be allocated to the students on the basis of their marks, branch and college preference, and seat availability. 

• Selected candidates need to submit documents to the college for verification.

• Course fee payment is the last step of the admission process.
