Government Polytechnic College, Kotkapura Admission Process
Government Polytechnic College, Kotkapura is a recognized technical institute by the AICTE offering diploma courses in engineering. Very simple admission procedures are there that are easy to follow by prospective candidates.
The students are admitted based on merit drawn from the qualifying examination results of the students, sometimes counting the performance in the academic qualifications of the previous year, usually of the 10th standard or any other equivalent qualifying examination.

Merit List Formation: A merit list is drawn up by the college on the basis of marks obtained by students in the qualifying examination.
Merit List Announcement: The announcement of the merit list shall be made on the official notice board of the college and/or through official channels.
Certificate verification: Shortlisted candidates must bring original documents for verification.
Payment of Fees: Selected candidates pay the required fees to confirm admission.
Admission Confirmed: An admission is confirmed after the candidate completes his/her fee payment and other formalities.
Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering:
It is a full-time diploma course running for three years and depending upon the merit obtained in the qualifying examination (10th standard or equivalent). Preferably, candidates should have a better foundation in mathematics and science.
Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering:
It is also a full-time course gaining seats through the merit obtained in the entrance test. Candidates mostly having a very good background in physics and mathematics in the 10th standard are preferred.
The merit process of admission applies for both these programs enabling the deserving candidates to be inducted for limited seats available.
