Government Polytechnic, Jalna Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Government Polytechnic Jalna admissions are selected by merit, with academic excellence being an important factor. Government Polytechnic Jalna courses include diplomas in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and are currently offered at Diploma level. 

Students who have completed their S.S.C. education in the Jalna area are eligible for 70% of the seats available for regular shift courses. The remaining 30% of seats are distributed based on merit at the state level.

Government Polytechnic Jalna admission is offered to Diploma Courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Additionally, the Government Polytechnic Jalna follows government-mandated reservation policies.

E-Scrutiny Mode:

• Candidates can complete the application form and register online.

• To upload documents, candidates can use a computer or smartphone 

• For document verification, candidates are not required to visit the campus 

• Candidates' applications will be verified online and confirmed by designated Facilitation Centres.

Physical Scrutiny Mode:

• Candidates can still register online at the closest Facilitation Centre (FC) even if they do not have access to a computer or smartphone.

• They can select a convenient time period for document verification at the FC after registering.

• They will have to complete the online application form, scan their own documents, and upload them to the FC.

• The application will be verified and confirmed at the FC.

• The Maharashtra Polytechnic admissions procedure is managed by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE).

• A merit list is used to determine the selection process for the Government Polytechnic Jalna.

• Candidates who qualify for the counselling procedure are listed on the merit list.

• The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) facilitates admission counselling for Gthe overnment Polytechnic Jalna.

• Multiple rounds of counselling allow eligible candidates to choose the courses and universities they want to attend.

• Following fee payment and document verification, final admission is completed.
