Government Polytechnic, Kadiri Admission Process
Government Polytechnic, Kadiri, is an affiliated college located in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. The institute offers diploma courses in technical education and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The admission process of Government Polytechnic, Kadiri is mainly based on the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET).
On a state level, AP POLYCET is an examination conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training-AP (SBTET-AP), Vijayawada. This entrance test forms the basis for students who wish to get into diploma programs of Government Polytechnic, Kadiri. 4. Counseling Process: Once qualified, candidates are called for the counseling process. Those who reach this stage can choose their preferred courses and colleges according to their ranks and availability of seats.
5. Document Verification: Candidates recognized on the merit list will report to Government Polytechnic, Kadiri for document verification. Documents usually required for verification include:
AP POLYCET rank card.
Class 10 (SSC) mark sheet and certificate.
Transfer certificate.
Caste certificate (if applicable).
Any other relevant certificates required as per the institute.

Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma in Automobile Engineering:
The diploma in Automobile Engineering at Government Polytechnic, Kadiri has been granted an intake of 60 students. The procedure of admission into the program is by examination AP POLYCET. For this course, candidates are required to qualify in the POLYCET-AP conducted by SBTET-AP, Vijayawada, which is a three-year program giving technical knowledge on automobile engineering to students.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering:
Similarly, for a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, there is an approved intake of 60 students. Admission into this course is also on the basis of the AP POLYCET examination. For this course, the prospective candidates must qualify in the POLYCET-AP for admission. This diploma program, which lasts for three years, gives students a strong foundation in electrical and electronics engineering.
Both diploma programs aim to give students a proper technical education with a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical experience so as to prepare them for a career in their respective fields.
