GPT Admissions 2024; The Government Polytechnic Karakala offers 4 diploma courses in various fields of engineering. The GPT admissions include Diploma in various engineering fields. Before applying to the course the candidate should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria set by GPT. The GPT admissions are based on the percentage scored in their 10th grade. The candidate who meets the eligibility criteria can apply for the course of their choice at GPT Karakala. The different fields in which diploma courses are offered are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering	60 seats	The candidates should have passed Karnataka SSLC or equivalent examination by securing minimum of 35% marks in aggregate. The candidate should have successfully completed at least five full academic years of study between 1st standard and qualifying examination. The candidates who have passed the 10th Standard examination shall produce Eligibility Certificates.

The admission process starts with the issue of notification for admission by the Leading newspapers.
Ads generally around the dates of announcement of school leaving certificates by the state government. Last week of April or first week of may or around that period.

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements,
Visit the Government Polytechnic, Karakala official website- https://gpt.karnataka.gov.in/ to fill out the application form online.
For admissions to the Diploma program the candidate must clear their 10th grade with a minimum of 35% percentage.
Out of total seats 50% of the seats are reserved for groups of the society.
