Government Polytechnic Koraput admission process is designed to select candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for its various diploma programmes. Government Polytechnic Koraput admission to Diploma in Engineering courses is offered on the basis of merit list prepared by the State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, Odisha.

In addition 20% of intake capacity is for lateral entry students for Government Polytechnic Koraput admission into 2nd year. For the first semester in Government Polytechnic Koraput diploma admissions 2025-26, the minimum age limit is 14 years. • Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are required to fill an online application form by entering the required information, uploading the documents and paying the requisite fee. 

• The authority prepares a merit list based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. A general merit list and category-wise merit list are released by the authority. 

• Candidates with their names on the merit list are required to fill their preferences of colleges and courses. Seat allotment is done on the basis of merit ranks, availability of seats, and choices locked by the candidates has been announced.

• Candidates who are offered admission have to undergo a document verification process at the specified centres. 

• Candidates who are allotted admission in the Government Polytechnic Koraput are required to report at the institute within the stipulated time and pay admission fee to secure their seat.
