Government Polytechnic, Mau Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Government Polytechnic Mau offers admission in the Diploma courses in the engineering and architecture streams. GP Mau admission in Diploma courses has a duration of two to three years. Enrollment in the Government Polytechnic Mau admission to courses is granted through the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP).  

All the Government Polytechnic Mau admission courses are offered in full time study mode only. Prospective candidates need to fill out an online application form of Government Polytechnic Mau and sit for the entrance examination. GP Mau admission is offered to Diploma Courses in various specialisations.

• Candidates should upload the necessary documents for GP Mau admission and make the application fee payment within the defined time period. 

• The application fee can be submitted through online methods such as Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or via E-Challan which can be submitted at any branch of either State Bank of India or ICICI Bank. 

Government Polytechnic Mau offers three-year Diploma Courses in Textile Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Textile Chemistry. GP Mau also offers Diploma lateral entry with duration of two years and seats intake for each is 7. GP Mau Diploma Admission Process

• Before applying for the diploma programmes at GP Mau, candidates must verify that they meet the institution’s predefined eligibility requirements. 

• After that, candidates have to fill the application form.

• The authority provides an opportunity for applicants to rectify any errors in their application forms through an application correction form window. Within the designated time frame, candidates can make necessary edits or adjustments to their submitted information.

• Candidates who have successfully completed the application process will be issued an admit card, which they are required to download from the official website.

• As part of the admission procedure, applicants are obligated to sit for a 2.5 hour online entrance test. 

• The institution publishes the results of the polytechnic examination in the form of a merit list which includes the names of candidates who have qualified for Government Polytechnic Mau admission.

• Qualified candidates need to participate in JEECUP counselling conducted by the authority. During the counselling sessions, candidates need to fill their preferences of course and institute. 

• Candidates who are allocated seats at GP Mau must complete the admission process by reporting to the institution and submitting the prescribed Government Polytechnic Mau admission fee.

Note- The admission process at college is followed as per the guidelines of Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. All the documents are required at the time of admission in GP Mau.
