The admissions to Govt. Polytechnic, Nalgonda is done on the basis of a centralised counselling process conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Telangana. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of TS POLYCET scores. The exam application form usually opens in the month of April and the exam is conducted in the month of May. Government Polytechnic, Nalgonda offers diploma programmes in four branches and three of them are offered in two shifts. There are 60 seats available for each of the courses.
