Government Polytechnic, Shergarh Admission Process

Government Polytechnic, Shergarh, is one of the premier technical colleges in Kaithal, Haryana, providing quality technical education in many branches of engineering. The institute has a transparent and merit-based admissions process for its diploma courses. Admissions are mainly made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) by the Board of School Education, Haryana, Bhiwani, or a similar recognized examination.

Degree wise Admission Process

Diploma in Civil Engineering: There are 60 seats available for this three-year course. The admission is done on inter-se-merit of the Secondary School Examination or equivalent qualifying examination. This course provides knowledge in civil engineering principles and practices to the students.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: It has an intake of 60 students and operates on the same admission process as the Civil Engineering diploma. The overall fee for this course is Rs. 18,250.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: It also consists of 60 seats and follows the same admission procedure on the basis of merit in 10th standard. The fee for the course is Rs. 18,250, offering students all-around mechanical engineering education.

Diploma in Computer Engineering: With 60 seats, it also admits students on the basis of their performance in 10th standard. The course fee is Rs. 18,250, aiming at imparting computer engineering knowledge and skills.

Diploma in Agricultural Engineering: This special diploma takes 60 students and has the same admission procedure as other diplomas. It is open to students who want to pursue courses in the agricultural engineering field.
