Government Polytechnic, Siddapur admission 2024: Government Polytechnic, Siddapur offers diploma courses. The Government Polytechnic, Siddapur admission is provided into diplomas in four different engineering disciplines. Government Polytechnic admission is provided into the Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, the Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering, the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and the Diploma in Civil Engineering. The college offers only full-time diploma programmes. Students seeking admission into the diploma courses are required to satisfy the prescribed Government Polytechnic, Siddapur eligibility criteria.
Admission to Government Polytechnic, Siddapur courses is provided considering the students' performance in the qualifying exam (10th). 50% of the available seats in the diploma are reserved for various categories and the other 50% will be filled based on the merit of students in the 10th exam. The lateral admission into the 3rd semester of the diploma is provided to the students who passed 10th and have done ITI (2 Years Course) or PUC II.

The basic education qualification for Diploma course is that you must have pass 10th or 12th.
Now the admission in BTech course is offered by engineering entrances conducted nationally or by state or by the institution itself. As you know JEE MAINS is going on and after the release of the results one can seek admission in NIT's and JEE MAINS accepting colleges. Now other state engineering entrances are going to be organized in the August. Thus based on your entrance examination the admission will be available as per the counselling.
Also after diploma you can admission in BTech by qualifying the later entry examination conducted by your state. For this case you will get direct admission in the second year of BTech.
