    • Candidates must have completed at least five full academic years of study in Karnataka from 1st Standard to the qualifying exam. Candidates from CBSE, ICSE, or other states must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the Board of Technical Examinations, Bangalore.

    • Half of the seats are reserved for various groups as per government rules. The other half is allotted based on SSLC marks for technical courses.

    • Candidates with SSLC or equivalent and ITI (2-year) or PUC-II can apply for lateral entry into the 3rd semester (2nd year).
