      The Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) is the very first technical institution of its kind in Belgaum, Karnataka. Located at Udyambag, Belgaum in the Industrial Estate, Government Tool Room and Training Centre is one of the institutes approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. 

      Government Tool Room and Training Centre has been preparing future technicians for more than two decades with its emphasis on Precision Engineering and Automation. Government Tool Room and Training Centre, Belgaum has a few diploma courses similar to that of the manufacturing industry. Generally, one has to pass a 10+2 or equivalent examination with science and mathematics subjects for admission. Government Tool Room and Training Centre doesn't have or accept scores from any kind of entrance examinations for admission. Government Tool Room and Training Centre admission is based solely on merit and related to a candidate's performance in the qualifying examination.
