Guru Gobind Singh Government Polytechnic, Cheeka (GGSGPC) is a leading technical institute, which primarily focuses on quality education in Engineering branches. GGSGPC adopts an admission process that selects deserving candidates based on merit. The institute has quite a simple admission procedure for its diploma programs. The primary criterion under which admission is granted to GGSGPC is based upon performance in qualifying examination Secondary School Examination (matriculation) or equivalent examination. • Diploma in Computer Engineering: With 60 seats available, admission to this program will also be determined by the merit of the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying examination.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering: The program has 60 seats, and admissions are provided based on the merit of the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying examination.
• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: Under this program, there will be 60 admissions based on the merit, which would be from the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying examination.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: With an intake of 60 students, admission to this program would also depend on merit obtained in the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying examination.

GGSGPC Documents Required

• Character certificate from the last attended school
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate (if applying under a specific category)
