The best thing about this college is the massive 100-acre campus; it’s full of greenery and feels very open. Our library is actually pretty good and stays quiet, which is perfect when you need to finish assignments last minute. The classrooms are basic but do the job, though the lab computers can be a bit slow when everyone is using them at once. It’s a bit far from the main city, but the overall atmosphere and the sports grounds make up for the long travel.
The academics here are pretty straightforward. Since we follow the JNTUH syllabus, the subjects are relevant, and the professors do a good job of explaining the basics. You do have to stay on your toes because they are very strict about the 75% attendance rule and mid-term exams. It’s not a "chill" environment where you can skip classes, but if you attend regularly and follow the lectures, the exams aren't too difficult to clear. it's a solid place to learn if you're disciplined
The department coordinates drives with companies like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, and ICICI Bank, mostly for roles in sales, finance, or basic tech support. The highest packages usually go to the top performers, so maintaining a good CGPA is a must to even qualify for the interviews. They do provide some training for soft skills, but most of the heavy lifting for cracking the rounds depends on your own preparation. It’s a decent starting point for freshers, but don't expect big MNC offers to just fall into your lap.
The total fee for MBA is around 1.3 Lakhs for two years, which is quite reasonable compared to other private colleges in Hyderabad. Since the college is NAAC A+ accredited and affiliated with JNTUH, the degree holds good weight for the price you pay. You get decent facilities, a huge campus, and enough library resources to complete the course without extra spending. It’s a good choice if you want a quality PG degree on a budget and are willing to put in the work yourself for placements.
Life on campus is mostly about staying in your block and following the schedule. The 100-acre campus is great for hanging out during breaks, and there’s a lot of greenery which makes the vibe very chill. We have some events like food fests and annual day celebrations, but don't expect a lot of cultural activities every month. Most students focus on their studies because of the strict attendance rules, but if you have a good group of friends, the environment is quite enjoyable.
If you're joining HITS, my advice is to stay on top of your attendance from day one so you don't face issues during exams. Also, don't just rely on classroom teaching for jobs; start practicing your aptitude and communication skills early because that's what will help you during the recruitment drives. It's a good place for disciplined students who want to build a career without high expenses
