IIIT Vadodara-DIU Admission Process

IIITV-ICD was established in 2020, and currently, the institute offers only Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering course, which is of four years duration. Admissions to B. Tech. is made based on JEE Main entrance exam, along with JoSAA or CSAB counselling. Interested candidates from different places can apply for B. Tech. admissions in the institute, but they must make sure that they meet the required eligibility criteria for admission. The intake of students is around 34 for B. Tech.

IIITV-ICD has just completed its admission process for the 2020-2021 academic session for B. Tech. The admission process was a bit delayed due to the pandemic. However, the institute has successfully enrolled its first batch of B. Tech. students.

IIITV-ICD Selection Process for B. Tech.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute must follow the admission procedure given below.

1. Fill and submit the admission form given by the institute.

2. Appear and qualify the JEE Main entrance exam.

3. Meet the required cut-off score.

4. Participate in JoSAA counselling for the final seat allotment.

5. Submit documents for verification.

6. Selected candidates must pay the fees.

IIITV-ICD Admission

Currently, the institute’s course includes an undergraduate degree in B. Tech. only. Candidates can apply for B. Tech. admissions when admissions are open. They are required to keep a check on the official website of the institute and the entrance exam portal. Admissions are made via JEE Main entrance exam and JoSAA counselling.

IIITV-ICD Admission Procedures for B. Tech. Programmes

IIITV-ICD offers B. Tech. programmes in Computer Science and Engineering.

Course	Eligibility Criteria
B. Tech.	Candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 55% in class 12. They should have completed their previous course degree in science stream with subjects of physics, math, and chemistry. They must appear for the JEE Main entrance exam.

IIITV-ICD Admission Through JEE MAIN

B. Tech. admission in IIITV-ICD is made through JEE MAIN entrance score, along with JoSAA counselling for the final seat allotment or admission. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must strictly follow the steps for admissions given below.

1. Fill the admission form and then submit it before the deadline.

2. Then appear for JEE MAIN entrance exam.

3. Candidates must meet the required cut-off score for further admission process.

4. Take an active part in JoSAA final seat allocation counselling.

5. Candidates then have to submit their documents for verification.

6. Selected candidates then must pay the fees.

IIITV-ICD Scholarship

Scholarships are essential, especially for technical and engineering students, since the fee is high. IIITV-ICD currently does not offer scholarships to its students. However, students are encouraged to apply for various state and central scholarships for educational support. Students belonging to SC/ST categories can apply for minority or tribal scholarship schemes by state or central government. Students can also avail various other scholarships and see to it that they meet the required eligibility criteria. They can also apply for student education loans from various banks.
