I haven't been to the college due to covid, but from what I can see in the photos and videos, it seems pretty good. It is beautiful with plants all around! The building are white and a treat to look at!
I chose to graduate from this college because it has amazing ratings for the course. The faculty is amazing, their teaching skills are very nice. Even during covid, they didn't leave any stone unturned.
Since I am a first year student I don't know much about it. But the placement cell is really active, it started its recruiting process soon in the first semester with the orientation and everything. I have heard that majority of students get placed.
The course costs around 28k per year and I feel that it is totally worth it.
I haven't been to the college to experience the campus life, but from what I have heard from the seniors, it's great and I can not wait to experience it
Because of lockdown I have not been to college but yes seeing the pictures nd other reviews regarding the infrastructure the college campus is very huge neat and clean and also it is one of the cleanest college in the delhi university. The cleanliness and the environment friendly infrastructure is there. The college has lot of flowers and plants enriching the campus environment
The teachers and other staff is really helpful. They always helps in each and every situation. The teaching quality of teachers is excellent. They teach with full diligence and intelligence and makes the environment so cordial such that the experience of students becomes memorable.
I do not have much knowledge related to the placements. But yes the placement cell of the college is really hard working and it so a great job in order to make the career of the students brighter and this helps them in their development.
The fees of IPCW is little higher than other delhi university colleges. But I think that it is worth to pay as the college provides us the facilities accordingly. IPCW os the only college in Delhi university which have a swimming pool in the campus . It has a gym too and also there are two hostels in IPCW to accommodate all the students in a proper way.
As i stated earlier the campus if full of lush green environment and which makes the campus one of the most beautiful and attractive colleges of delhi university. The campus life is really interesting all the facilities are provided and overall the college is really good.
No
Infrastructure was very good. It has parks , gardens, peacocks. Having a prime location of 30 steps away from Civil lines metro Station and being one of the oldest girls college of Delhi University...
Teachers of our college are very good by nature but no teacher have any impression of effective learning. They themselves are graduated, post graduated and have completed the doctrine from a top college.
Placement cells was inactive days back but is in an active state... offering good packages to the students in the companies like Infosys, KPMG, Dollies etc. With this it also provides chance to develop career in sports.
Expensive than other classes of equal and even greater dignified college. It charges for literally everything. From Registration forms to examination forms and so on. Whereas other college do not consider students to pay for the same.
Campus life is also good. You won't regret taking admission in Indraprastha College for Women. It is full of adventures and gives the same opportunities and crowd than any other coed college in Delhi University.
Overall it is good. Considering Campus life, Placement cells, Academics, Attendence keeping records, College Infrastructure.. the college is worth the basic money been taken. You will not regret Indraprastha College for Women.
Infrastructure is very good. College has gardens, parks and many birds like peacocks. It has prime location i.e. located very close to civil lines metro station. It is one the oldest girls college in whole DU.
Teachers of our college are very good. They themselves are graduated from top colleges. Rest they are very supportive, they give their 100% and never leaves stone unturned in the discharge of their duties.
Placement cell was quite inactive for past few day but now it has started working actively. It is offering good packages to the students in companies like KPMG, delloite etc. Also it provides guidance to the students for further education.
It is value for money, you won't regret taking admission in IPCW. College has so much to offer to you it depends on you how much you can grab. There are many societies in the college from where you can learn a lot!
Campus life is also good. It will be adventurous and you won't regret that you have taken admission in the girls college. Our college is equally good as compared to any co-ed college. So if you are getting admission go for it!
As we know delhi university is a govt university we cannot expect better infrastructure similar to other private universities but yes it does provide good infrastructure. The campus is spacious and my college has everything.
DU is one of the best educational institutions we have in the country. So undoubtedly academics remains best. Rest depends on us how we study and concentrate on our specialization. Teachers are highly qualified and friendly.
My college has a placement cell which provides good internships and students can sit for placements at the end of third year. Placements doesn't match the high placement of othet DU college such as SRCC, Stephens college .
DU is the most affordable university we can have. One can study here without being tensed about hiking college fees. It is the best university we can study at with value for money. My fees for 1 year is 18,000 which is too affordable.
Campus life is the best in each college under DU. Diversity is remarkable here. We get to understand lot of new languages and different perspectives from different people. Teachers are too cooperative .
I would recommend DU over any othet college. It is the best life experience one can have in life. The friends we make here, the enjoyment we get is incomparably good. There fore i really recommend my college and each DU as best
The infrastructure of the college is very fascinating. It does provide all the facilities needed in an institution. The college environment is very clean with lush greenery around. It does have a wifi access
I graduated with history honours. The professors have prfound knowledge and the classes are lively. The subject history is very vast so the cover of all topics would be a burden. I think the curriculum is sufficient for a 3 years honors course and makes a student ready for job Or further studies.
The college is supportive. But the subject doesn't have much scope in it's own field after BA in history honours so that's why campus placements are not much celebrated. The college still has a placement cell which guides with various internships and placements as well. It is more useful for the former aspect
I think the facility was worth the amount given.
Students have a lot of facilities such as sports, library, ground. But it doesn't have much of a campus life. Only few people stayed back and had access or utilized the campus facility.
No.
Beyond satisfactory. Everything is clean and tidy and up to the latest possible technology and availability. Everything is well maintained. The campus is eco friendly and equipped to even help the disabled.
Excellent curriculum and faculty. Everyone is cooperative and understanding and very liberal. There are multiple events held throughout the session to sensitize people on important issues and everyone is open to new ideas and opinions.
Depends on the students and whether they are interested in work after graduation or further studies. Most people go for further studies because of the quality of education imparted and how it creates further curiosity.
Affordable for anyone and everyone with scholarship facilities. Students are even provided with equipments for free to help them study and erase the gap between the privileged students and the under privileged ones.
Student groups and acceptable communities of friendly people. Everyone is non judgmental in every possible way and there aren't any instances of misbehavior or ragging of any sorts on the basis of caste, color, language, economic state etc.
Had the best three years of my life in the this college with great memories. We were surrounded by hardcore feminists and very liberal people who did their best to help other people to open up and understand life in the best way.
I like the infrastructure of our college. The front building has been maintained since it's been built and has not been manipulated with which holds much history. There is a gym, a swimming pool and beautiful gardens. Food provided in the canteen is good and qualitative as well.
Faculty members here are much advanced, apt for their respective courses and profound sources of knowledge. They are well-qualified. The course curriculum is very much relevant, and students can relate to the course which they have chosen. Faculty members put their utmost time in clearing doubts.
I am still studying, but as per our seniors, placement criteria works best. Almost 80% of the students are engaged in internships in various companies and organisations. We could pursue any occupation we want like psychology, IR, politics, history, UPSC, maths and lectureship.
Yes, It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities & equipment. All the equipments are well maintained and the classrooms are spacious & well ventilated. All classes have projectors. And there is AC too.
I'm pursuing BA from IPCW, Delhi. I find the quality of teaching superb. Teachers are so friendly and they teach via projectors for clean understanding. And yes, our curriculum is well updated and includes all the recent developments.
I didn't know much about the placement. But I heard the news that the highest salary package offered by our college was around Rs.7.5 lakhs of B.com (hons) student. And the average package offered by our colleges was around 3-4 lakhs.
I'm not satisfied with the fees of college. As our college is semi government. So amomg North campus colleges , our college fees is highest. Like the fees of BA is Rs. 24k , and in other colleges it's around 14-15k.
Our campus is one of the best campus among North campus colleges. It's located in civil lines area, near Vidhan sabha. So it's completely safe area and can handle emergencies as well. Our college provides various sports or extra curricular activities which is the most enhancing point of our capmus. Most of the students are also a part of NCC & few of them has achieved a great goal as they got a chance to do parade on republic day at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Overall our college is best.
The building is beautiful. Wi-Fi is available but often lag. The library provides a huge variety of books and offers areas where one can study quietly with concentration. It has ACs as well. Classrooms are small but well ventilated. Quality of food is good and affordable. Medical facilities were available. There is a swimming pool and gym, college also provides practice sessions for various sports and games. It is cleaned daily and is very hygienic.
I am pursuing philosophy honours because I was very keen to know about this subject and wanted to explore it more as it teaches you about life and Karma. The curriculum has been updated this very year and changes take place in different fields regularly. It definitely makes you job ready as it teaches you so much how to conduct yourself how to communicate and how to live your life.
The quality of placement is very good as some of the top companies of the country come for placement in our campus. About 60%- 70% of students got placed. The lowest salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month and the highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month but it can be increased according to the skillset of the students. The international schools also came forward to provide placements. Last year the highest placement was around Rs. 50000.
My course costs Rs 24000 per year. The fees is completely worth it because it is not so expensive and yet brings a great amount of knowledge which we cannot get even after paying lakhs of rupees. It provides all the facilities which a college should provide in the same amount of money and no extra fees is charged for any other facility.
The campus life is very cool. Many of the students stay in the cast campus itself and there are parties and events taking place half the time. Basking in the sun in winters feels satisfying. The canteen is a happening place filled with chaos and aroma of good food. Different events takes place in our college such as cultural and intellectual activities in which student can participate. All the members of the college are very supportive and 24 hours medical facility and safety is provided.
It is a beautiful college the first year has been very great till now full stop looking forward for the coming years and also apart from studies there are various societies which conducts events and helps us to explore more and I am apart in one of them so I have learnt a lot in my very first year which will help me grow in my personal as well as professional life.
Dear applicant it's great that you have so many options, however among all of them I would suggest you to choose Indraprastha College for Women, this college has great academic record, all the necessary facilities to make you feel comfortable and you will be under the guidance of very helpful
