Institute of Architecture and Planning Ahmedabad Scholarships - Category – I (Based on Merit only)
The above scholarship will be renewed every year subject to the following Conditions:
During the entire previous year, the conduct of the student is good.
The student should maintain merit and get PPI of 7.0 and above and should have passed all courses of study in the first attempt in the previous year, except the conditions narrated below:
For Core Courses
At the time of renewing the scholarship for Semester-III, if a student is having “IF” in only one course of 1st year, then he/she should be provided 50% scholarship for Semester-III. Further, if the student clears all the courses including backlog at the end of Semester-III, then the scholarship of Semester-IV will be given with the arrears of Semester-IIIFor Supplementary Course
At the time of renewing the scholarship in the beginning of next semester, if a student is having “IF” in only one supplementary course, then he/she shall be provided the scholarship. However, the same will be considered only for 3 times during the entire duration of the programme.
The student is not caught by unfair means in any of the examinations conducted either by the Institution or by the University.
The student maintains full attendance except the absence with a genuine reason for which the permission of the HoI is obtained particularly in case of Illness.

Institute of Architecture and Planning Ahmedabad Scholarships - Category – II (Merit cum Means)
The above scholarships will be subject to the following conditions:
All the conditions narrated under Category – I above will be made applicable
The students should be within top 45 in the merit list of the students admitted.
Two different merit lists will be prepared and the number of scholarships will be distributed proportionately to each category. The merit list will be as under:
35% students will be admitted based on NATA/qualifying exam merit.
Another merit list will be prepared on the basis of the students admitted through ACPC.
The number of scholarships as mentioned above is maximum and may vary from year to year depending upon the number of NRI seats filled – in every year.
The students admitted under the Non Resident Indian (NRI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals (FN) or Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) categories will not be eligible for such scholarships. The President of the University will have the power to make any exception in the above rules.

Academics
Architecture is course which requires more of practical knowledge, on site lecture which are incorporated in our studies. We have RSP (Research study programs) which helps in practical knowledge. And we even have classes for softwares for designing and compositions so that your work is presentable
College Infra
Our studios where we work almost all day doesn't have AC which is the causes allot of discomfort in this harsh weather, other than that I feel it has all necessary items required in educational institution
Campus Life
Campus life is good as we have less students every one bonds with each other and we are like a family now the teachers are also very much supportive including our director who is the backbone for IAPNU. And we even have national competitions and trophies through which we get to know about other colleges and there current study curriculum and where do we stand.
Placements
As far as placements concern there are not much placements in this course it is more over a business oriented course you hardly get placed or even if you get placed the amount you get paid is not fair enough in comparison to the amount you had spent in your studies.
Value For Money
It cost almost 1,19,000 per sem that is 2,40,000 a year. About the outcome from the course is a subjective matter it needs regularity in the work you have been given if you lacks behind then you will lack behind for whole sem because each single assignment is interelated with each other. Hence the outcome depends on you yourself.
