Degree-wise Admission Process
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This is the largest program being offered at JIET with an approved intake of 180 students. Admission processes would likely consider grades obtained from the 10th standard, with an emphasis on Mathematics and Science subjects. The program duration is most likely for a period of 3 years.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This is the second largest program at JIET with 120 students' intake. The criteria for admission are similar to those for Mechanical Engineering diploma with emphasis on Mathematics and Science in 10th standard.
Diploma in Civil Engineering: It has an allowed intake of 60 students. Admission is done based on the grades obtained at the 10th standard particularly with respect to Mathematics and Science subjects.
Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: Among the programs, it ranks the lowest in terms of capacity, allowing only 30 students. The entry requirements therefore carry the 10th standard performance assessment, mainly stressing the Mathematics and Science scores.
