      Academics

      The college provides a good quality of teaching . Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. I was studing electrical engineering to be a successful technical person in future.

      College Infra

      Our college have almost all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have a good amount of facilities available in our college like classrooms, laboratories, libraries and hostel for girls .

      Placements

      The quality of placements at our college is of a average level. About 40% of students are placed . The placement process was easy and pleasent for me. My college supports us at a average level foe our placements.

      Academics

      I am studying diploma in electrical engineering. I have an interest on electrical field and i want to know how current supplies in home. Faculty members are well qualified, very helpful and knowledgeable . The course curriculum is much relevant and it makes students ready for industry. Moreover, the college offers six months industrial training for the betterment of students. Also they give a chance a for two months Training of autocad from L&T. Overall i have an amazing experiences.

      College Infra

      We have facilities like labs , library , hostel , canteen. There is no hostel facilities for boys only for girls. The quality of food is good . The environment is healthy and ragging free campus . Only need to build a boys hostel because many students come from far away. Hostel rooms and bathrooms are clean. Also college campus is well organised. All class rooms is clean enough. Food quality is good enough and also hygienic. Also a huge and well maintained playground is available in our college.

      Placements

      It is the most prominent Polytechnic College in west bengal. Every year more than 70% of students got placed in different companies like L&T, Cipla, Normet, Capgimini, infosys, csce. Highest salary per month is 25000/-.

      If you finished your ITI, then you are admitted directly to the 2nd year Diploma programme in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and DETC courses. You have to write VOCLET exam. The VOCLET exam is conducted by WBSCTE. Even though you are not from West Bengal, you can still apply for VOCLET

      jhan chndra polytechnic college is one of the oldest polytechnic colleges of west bengal. it has 3 years diploma  course program on Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and electronics and tele communications. it has 2 years course on diploma in pharmacy. as this is a really old college many companies comes
