JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled, Mysore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has provided accommodation to the candidates within the campus separately for boys. At the time of getting admitted to this institution, those candidates who wish to stay in the hostel have to apply along with a filled application (download application format below) with the prescribed fees.  Hostel accommodation will be provided depending on the vacancy available & also the conduct of the candidate during the previous year/semester.  It is usually done on a first come first serve basis.

The college has a full-fledged Health Centre to provide basic health facilities for the students and staff. The Health Centre has a dedicated Medical Officer along with a Male and a Female Nurse to address the health issues of the students and staff. The students and staff are provided free consultation along with medicines. For major ailments, support has been taken from JSS Hospital and other nearby hospitals as per the need.

The college has a well-equipped Gymkhana which provides opportunities for students to involve in physical exercises to maintain physical fitness. 

The college Library is a resource center for both teaching and learning. It is equipped with over 13,500 volumes, covering all streams of Science and Engineering and allied subjects. It has updated its collection to meet the information need of the user community from time to time. 

The college is equipped with sports & games facilities to encourage their physical gaming spirit and also to maintain physical fitness.

The college has Three Computer labs that have been set up with one facility comprising of latest computers (Dell Systems with Core i5 4 GB RAM 1 TB HDD, HCL Systems with Dual Core 2 GB RAM 500 GB HDD), Multimedia Projectors, and Laptops in each Lab. All the computer Labs are provided with Internet Facilities and WIFI.

The college has an Alumni meet is an essential activity that brings passed out candidates' experience and shares their views and ideas for improving the performance of the existing system. Through Alumni meetings, teachers will have information about the passed-out students and also know the level of application of the knowledge gained during the course of study in this institution. Successful alumni are the real motivators for the students of this institution.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a Union Bank of India which is located on the premises.  The bank is within access of the students and also has an ATM that provides round-the-clock service. Every student is made to open an account and any scholarships / financial support coming from any funding organization is directly remitted to his / her bank account.

The bank is open between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on weekdays and 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on Saturdays.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for students and staff.

The college hyas Training and Placement is recognized for its ability to plan and implement value-added programs such as Personality development programs, Technology Training Programs, and Bridge Courses in the areas of interest and requirements for the Industry. This adds to the credentials of the students and builds the quality of the engineering professionals from the college. Training and Placement cell also provides necessary Pre-Placement Training for the pre-final year students in the form of Pre-Placement talks arranged by various industries/corporations, training from the seniors on the nature of the written test being imparted and the process of interviews of different industries.
