It wasn't so good and bad at the same time. Overall infrastructure was good but not as amazing as it should be. Being in the list of one of the top colleges of India , it should have comparatively better infrastructure which it doesn't not.
Academics wise whole college life experience was amazing. Whether we talk about the faculty or about the examination system, everything is well managed and well organised and we literally never felt like we gotta need some tuition for attaining good marks.
it was good as the placements are done on non-partial basis which is quite rare to see these days . And if you really wanna get placed with nice salary package and you are talented, it is done . ❤️❤️❤️
quite reasonable for every middle class family
beyond words...It was just amazingly fabulous
I am proud to be a kirorian
Our campus has well atractive infrastructure. It has all the facilities like gym, cafeteria, library, sports area, all kinds Of labs provided with sufficient equipment. Only few classes has projectors but everyone can access them. It also has wifi facility.
Everything here is how hard we work to built our career. The teaching staff and also the non teaching staff is so supportive and helpful. The syllabus is updated accordingly. The campus has access of new and modern curriculum.
The placements are more for Bcom students. The average salary offered is 5 lakhs. And the highest salary offered this year is 22 lakhs. The placements cell is connected with good and big companies all over the country.
I can say that the campus life is beautiful. The environment there is not so polluted. The students can enroll with all the activities that the college provides. The location of the campus is safe and cool.
The College campus is really great and gives you a good feel with all its common places and classrooms but some basic facilities are a trouble sometimes like non working water coolers not Ac classrooms and all but its also PWD friendly
Kirorimal College is really good with academics their are a lot of bright students scoring AIRs in different exams and sure does the focus of college on academics helps us a lot in staying focused, along with other activities
Placements are really good, the companies which comes for the placement drives are one of the Indias best ones but the cell itslef is a bit unresponsible in its working but other then that the placements and CTC are upto the mark
It is a complete value for money as you will not only get to learn the books but real life experiences that will help in your all round development
ranging from ideal sitting in ashoka lawn to the election campgains to the classes the campus life is totally engaging for every person with nearly any objective or way of life
This college gives you a lot to lear and a lot to live with and helps you become a better human and developing skills which you never thought you will be able to excel
The college's infrastructure is fairly okayish, with a small campus and limited facilities. The library has a good collection of books and is one of the most visited libraries in DU. The classrooms are well-maintained with smart boards installed but these aren't used whatsoever. The restrooms and spic and span; canteen has affordable and hygienic food. The sports facilities are available in the college, though only some sports are given due attention. WiFi facility is available in the campus.
The academic aspect of KMC is something to look out for! The teachers are qualified and experienced with most being PhD holders. I am pursuing B.com hons due to ky interest in commerce. But, I must say that the course doesn't make students job-ready. It is still imbibing concepts which are age old and not compatible with the advancements in the contemporary. The internal processes are sound but practical application is not given due importance.
The placement drive is held in the college twice a year. Big companies visit the college with exemplary job offers and CTC packages. Avenues, placement cell of KMC, is responsible for inviting the companies to the college and guiding the students, and hence the college is supportive in this respect. Moroever, the average package is decent ranging from 5 -6 lpa. But, the proportion of the students getting placed is just 50-60%, and placements are course dependent. Some students feel left out.
My yearly fee was just 12k, which is a reasonably affordable amount for any student. Being a part of a prestigious institution as delhi university and the nature of services, KMC is worthwhile. There are many activities and I am definitely getting my money's worth.
The campus is life very good with the college having spacious lawns and clean work spaces and situated in a developed market named Kamla Nagar wherein there are many cafes and shopping outlets to hang out with friends. There are various societies in the college like dance , music and theater, with others being educational societies like finance cell, for the students to engage in. The basketball team of KMC is the best; NCC provides an opportunity to join the Indian Army.
I have been a part of the dance society, and my exposure is incomparable. KMC has a cultural fest in the even semester named Renaissance which is literally a highlight. KMC might not be a worthy option for a job-oriented person.
KMC has a fairly average infrastructure as the campus is comparatively small. The classrooms are well-maintained with smart boards installed but these boards are not utilized which defeats the purpose. The Wi-Fi facility is available but it suffers from poor connectivity. The canteen has affordable food and there are sports and gym facilities duly available. The labs lack necessary apparatus; the library doesn't have an exhaustive collection of books.
I am pursuing Political science due to my inclination towards civics and polity. The teachers are cooperative and experienced with most being PhD holders, but we have attendance issues. The course structure is not well updated and we are still taught the old age concepts. Certainly, due to the archaic curriculum, the course doesn't make one job-ready.
The placements are held twice a year, with the winter recruitment being more prominent. There's an active placement cell responsible for inviting big players like Bain, BCG, D.E Shaw etc. The college is supportive in terms of helping students get hired. The average package is low, lying around 4-5 lacs p.a; the proportion of the students getting placed is 60% only. Moreover, the placements are not inclusive of all the courses, as commerce students have more chances of getting hired.
KMC is affordable in terms of the fees, with mine being around 15k annually. But, it is not just about the money aspect, as lack of basic amenities and no guarantee of getting jobs make the college less worthwhile.
The college is situated in a developed market. The teachers and support staff are supportive and cooperative. There's a medical room for handling the emergencies. There are various societies in the college like enactus, The round table, NSS, Parivartan; some cultural societies being musoc and The Players. Students can engage in these societies which provide a great platform for honing skills and widening the horizons.
There is a cultural fest in the even semester named Renaissance, which is always a big hit. It is conducted at a very big scale and goes on for 3 days or so. Moreover, there are enlightening sessions and seminars going on time and again! But KMC might not be a good prospect for a job-oriented person like me.
The college has a very sound infrastructure with a well layout campus. There is a very famous library named N.S Pradhan, which has an amazing collection of books. The classes are well-maintained with smart boards installed and the labs have all necessary apparatus. There is a gymnasium for the college students and the labs are centrally air conditioned. The canteen has affordable good but it suffers from lack of diverse options, and though Wi-Fi facility is available, its connectivity is poor.
The academic curricula for all the courses is quite good in KMC. I am pursuing bachelors in English, which has an updated curriculum. On the contrary, there are some courses like commerce which don't take the current updations into account. The teachers are cooperative and experienced, with most being PhD holders. The internal process is smooth and normally there's no attendance issue.
There is a recruitment drive which is held in the college. Avenues, the placement cell of KMC, is highly active in inviting established companies to the college and guiding students hence making the college supportive. I am not fully aware of the average package, but the highest package was 20L p/a. The proportional of students getting hired is less, which is surely a demerit.
I am pursuing English honours due to my penchant for literature. The college, being under government jurisdiction, is affordable as my annual tuition fee was just around 12k p/a. The provision of basic amenities in the college makes it worthwhile.
The college is located amidst a developed market named Kamla Nagar which is the best place for hanging out with shops and cafes. The college has spacious lawns and clean work spaces. There are various societies in the college like music, dance and theater, for the students to engage in. NCC provides students the insight into the army life. Enactus and NSS work for the betterment of the society. The support staff is helpful and there is a medical room to handle the emergencies.
The Players, theater society of KMC, is one of the most established societies in the DU circuit. One can join the college if he/she aspires to excel in theater. Most of the notable alumni of KMC belongs to this society which speaks volumes about its educative aspect.
Its amzing and good all necessary facilites are available for students classtooms are quite bid and airy there is also a elevator which can be used by students .i will recomned this college if u get admission
All lectures are quite helping and understanding . They come to classes regularly and takr tutorials classes on time and are yheir when students need them . They give assesments on time and take intetnals on time
Thoudh i have not applied for placements , but most of my friends who have applied for placements got placed in good and reputed companies like EY and delloite , most of yhe bcom hons students and eco hons students got placed
Here anuall fees is 10000 for economics hons . And i think it is quite affordable as compared to other collges and university . Examination fees is included in it . As coMpared to quality of education it is worth it
Campus life is amazing and funn . If you have friends and good friend circle . There are many cafes in hudsone lane which is quite near to college you can go there whenever you want . It is amazing , good
Overall this college is good and amzing and beside this i dont want to add anything furthure . I hope you got your answer about this college . One thing is that since it a north campus college . You will get good placements
Yes they have necessary facilities but I do well we need to have good auditorium and most of the time our Ashoka lawn is close for students which should be open for students at last in winter . We need a more big library
I m currently studying economics Hons and lecturer are quite cooperative and understanding they take lecture in time and take tutorial classes regularly and give assignments in an inresting way however some lecturer don't come in time
I have not applied for placements so I can't say much about it but yes most of the well known companies like EY come for placements and usually students of BCOM Hons and economic Hons get placed in multi national company
Our course cost for approx 10000. Per year which is quite affordable
Our campus life is amazing as we enjoy fest during the month of February and march
I like my college
Kirorimal has it's unique infrastructure. The college has all the facilities like gym, it has grate sports area, the lawns in tge College are so special.. there 3 lawns in total, it has well equipped laboratories, it of the top library in delhi university, some of the oldest books are only found in KMC library. The classrooms are so spacious. KMC provides only boy's hostel. The campus is also connected with wifi and provides to all it's sutdents. Evrey area is well-maintained and are evergreen.
Iam pursuing BA ECONOMICS honours at KMC. The faculty are so friendly with greate experience. Everything in our college is done on the interest of it's students. Their are many extracurricular activities and co- curricular activities conducted by every society in the college.
The placements here are good for commerce background students ,there are placements for all the cources. The highest salary offered this year is 22lac. The average salary is 5lac. The college provides n number of opportunities to every individual to built their career as they wish.
The fee here is too less , so that everyone can afford. Their different types of scholarships offered. The campus is so supportive to everyone.. it makes all the works so easily. It doesn't ask for any extra amount. Everything is done by one time payment per year.
The college has a really small campus, notwithstanding the high aspirations from a DU's college. The classrooms and loos are well-maintained and cleanliness is given priority, but the canteen does not have hygienic food. The sports facilities are available but they are not taken seriously except basketball. The WiFi is available but suffers from poor connectivity and the library does not an up to the mark collection of books. The labs are well-equipped but smart boards are not functional.
The academics is an area to look out for in KMC. I am pursuing physical sciences, and I am quite happy with my faculty. The teachers are fairly experienced with some being PhD holders in their fields. My course is up to date and keeps on adapting with the advancements taking place in this ever-changing economy. The teachers are cooperative in internal processes and there is no attendance issue. The course makes the students job-ready.
The placement drive is held in the college twice a year, one from Aug-Sept and other from Jan-March. The recruitment percentage is around 60% only,as it does not take every course into account. Some science and commerce courses get due attention, but rarely the drive witnesses companies offering roles exclusively for physical science students or other less popular courses. The average package is quite low, ranging from 5-6 lacs pa. There's a placement cell supportive of students, but not for all.
The college is worthwhile in its true essence. The annual fees is just around 12k for my course, and lies within 15,000 for nearly each course offered by the college. There are various societies to engage in, and the provision of basic amenities makes KMC worth a shot. There are interactive sessions and seminars in departmental fests of the college for supporting students.
The campus life is very nice with the location in a bona fide market with cafes and restaurants to hang out. The college has a medical room for emergencies and the support staff is cooperative. The college has various societies to engage in like music, dance and theater. There is NCC for Army aspirants and Enactus which works for the societal issues. The basketball team is surely the best in the DU circuit. There is Ashoka Lawn which is spacious and breezy for chilling out with friends.
The Players, theater society of the KMC has engendered some great artists who have/are working in the films and theater. I have been part of the same, and the education in Players is incomparable.
The candidates need to secure more than 720 out of 800 in CUET ug for KMC college. For obc candidates in this score the available options are KMC, Ramjas, DRC & Venky.
