KIOT Salem Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

KIOT Salem offers admissions to the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes. For KIOT UG admissions to the BE/ B.Tech degree courses, candidates must qualify in TNEA followed by TNEA counselling. For KIOT PG admissions a valid score card of GATE or TANCET is required to participate in the TANCA counselling for admissions to the ME and MBA degree courses. 

For KIOT doctoral admissions to the Ph.D degree programmes, candidates have to appear for an entrance test, conducted by the Anna University. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the entrance test and have to appear for a personal interview. Finally, selected candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the KIOT Salem course fee to complete the Knowledge Institute of Technology Salem admissions process.

• Candidates who meet the requirements must register on the KIOT Salem admissions webpage.

• To be considered, applicants must pass the TNEA admission exam. 

• KIOT Salem cutoffs are made public following the release of TNEA results. 

• Those who have achieved the cutoff scores are eligible to participate in the TNEA counselling session held by Anna University.

• The selected applicants must designate KIOT Salem as their top choice during the choice-filling process.

• Candidates' submitted choices and TNEA scores will be taken into consideration for allocating seats. 

• Candidates may visit the KIOT Salem campus to confirm their seat assignment after validating their identification and paying the B.E course fees.

• Candidates who meet the criteria may register on the KIOT Salem admissions portal.

• Candidates need to pass the TANCET entrance exam. 

• KIOT Salem cutoffs will be made public following the publication of TANCET results.

• Candidates who achieve the required cutoff ranks are eligible to participate in the TANCA counselling session.

• Candidates must indicate their preferred college during choice selections as KIOT Salem.

• Finally, the selected candidates must visit the KIOT Salem for document verification, and pay the course fees for ME and MBA.

KIOT Salem Ph.D Admissions Process 2025

• Candidates who meet the requirements must register on the KIOT Salem admissions webpage.

• KIOT Salem admits students twice a year to its research centre programmes.

• Candidates will need to pass a written exam administered by Anna University.

• A personal interview will be conducted for the candidates who have passed the written test.

• The candidate's performance in the written test and the interview will determine the seats they receive.

• Candidates may check their documentation and pay the Ph.D course fees in person at the KIOT Salem campus to confirm the seat that has been assigned to them.
