KU

Placements : There is no placement cell in the college. Companies do not come to the campus for placements frequently, as I heard from seniors. But some of our seniors got placed in various government jobs with their own sources. There were good placements before the previous year. Some students got 6 lacs per annum salary package, and some got lower than that. They got placed in research institutes as main researchers. Some other students also got placed in various private firms with an average package of 3 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is not that good, but it is average and okay. There are enough desks and benches for every student. The building is average but, it is old. Renovation is done every 5 years approximately. Labs are not that good as there is lack of some instruments. A canteen is also available for students, but it is in very bad condition and very less students go there for anything.

Faculty : Teaching quality is good. Teachers are supportive and well-educated. There is a 1:5 teacher to student ratio. The course curriculum is very useful, and there is less industry exposure. But teachers help students in those very things from time to time.

Other : There is an annual fest named Goonj. The campus is always crowded. There are some caste scholarships provided. There is also an auditorium, and there is a museum near the auditorium.

MGIT

Placements : The placement section of MGIT college has been successful in providing placements to the outgoing students through campus recruitment drives which are conducted by various national and international companies. IBM, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Essar Steels are few of the many companies that visit our campus for placements. Placement statistics for the 2016-17 batch is around 608.

Infrastructure : Our college is equipped with amazing laboratories and equipment, a huge library, drawing halls and computer labs. When it comes to sports, MGIT college supports us well. The campus is equipped with basketball courts, volleyball courts, cricket grounds, a gym room and a room provided for many indoor sports.

Faculty : The faculty members of MGIT college are highly educated, and they help students to clear their concepts. Few of the faculty members way of teaching is different yet easy for students to understand the subject well. The laboratory faculty explain the concepts well. The faculty to students ratio is 1:20.

Other : MGIT college conducts fests related to studies and sports annually, and there are also fun activities.

As you can compare both the colleges are'nt too good in all aspects. But then also somehow MGIT seems to better than KU.

Last decision is yours.

Hope this helps

Dear aspirant,

Both were the right choices to start your technical journey in engineering

Here were the few things you must note while deciding and I think you must know this for sure as you were comparing 2 top colleges in ts

  • mgit has high ranking than mvsr.
  • faculty count in mgit is higher than mvsr as students intake is little higher in mgit
  • Placements were equally good in both
  • Opportunities were amful in both the campus
  • Both the campus environments build up great enthusiasm In  as there you can many opportunities to explore and explore
  • It's always best choice to choose the branch you like.

Hope this helps you out

All the best

Hello

You want a govt college but you should see that where your interest lies. To get a govt job after engineering Civil has the most requirements in govt jobs after that ECE also has but not as much as civil branch.

So I think you should go for Civil branch but only if you have interest in it, you dont want to do something which you dont like.

Take up ECE if you want more job opportunities overall(private+govt).

Hope this helps

Yes, your rank and inter percentage is eligible for getting seat in both colleges MGIT college or Srinidhi college, you can check previous year rank cut-off for both colleges. So, you need not to worry about seat. All the best for your studies and future.

Hello Aspirant,

You have not mentioned your category to which you belong to.But I would assume that you belong to general category. As 15% of seats seats are reserved for non-local from total number of seats. And you have secured a decent score. And there are good chances that you may get seat in any branch based on 2018 cut off trends. However cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

I hope this is helpful.

Congratulations on getting good rank in Eamcet, and your rank and inter percentage is eligible for getting seat in MGIT college or Srinidhi college, you can check previous year rank cut-off for both colleges. So, you need not to worry about seat. All the best for your studies and future.

Hello

Sorry to say that you cannot get seat in mgit .

As the cutoff is way too high .

It was around 56 thousand .

Also it might be difficult for you to get seats in top colleges due to stiff competition.

Anyway u can try guru Nanak college or ngit and mallareddy

Hello aspirant, firstly about MGIT  this one of the review about the college..well i would say if you are a geek and want sme practical studying ..then get into either one of the NIT or IITs though is dont know much but at the end you wont regret joining them,, however there may come a point where you regeret for joining mgit if you value knowledge and are a nerd type but thats not always the case provided you are exposed correctly to various activities which again no one else does for you but you yourself....

College Infrastructure

The campus is quite big and full of trees. You can also find peacocks and parrots here. You will also have a basketball court, 3 volleyball courts, and one cricket ground. When it comes to the library, you will have access to plenty of books, and there is also a digital library where you will find a few systems to do your work.

Hands on learning with expert faculty

College Infrastructure

The college was built in 1998, so most buildings are old. The classroom infrastructure is good. In my department, most labs are core labs, like electronics labs. For the CSE department, the best facilities in computer labs with AC, Wi-Fi, and all. MGIT and CBIT students share a combined hostel. I don’t stay in the hostel, but one of my friends who does says the hostel facilities are good.

Supportive and friendly faculty

College Infrastructure

MGIT provides good infrastructure with a great faculty providing well-equipped labs. There are decent classrooms for students. Students are provided with a hostel facility but only for boys. We have a decent canteen with a mess. Some hostels offer nutritious and hygienic food, while others may have food quality issues.
