48 MonthsBachelor of Engineering (BE) in Marine Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Candidate should pass in 12th Standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%.
- The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the English language in the 10th or 12th standard exam.
Lateral Entry:
- Candidates can join 2nd year of 4-Year Marine Engineering Degree Course who have passed a 3-year Diploma Course in Mechanical / Marine / Electrical / Electrical and Electronics, from the colleges approved by AICTE or the State Board of Technical Education, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the last year of the Diploma Course.
- Candidates who have passed the 2nd year of a 4-Year Marine Engineering Degree Course, who have passed the 1st year from the Engineering College in other streams like Mechanical or Electrical, approved by AICTE, with a minimum 60% average marks.
Admission Details
Those who wish to join through the Govt. Quota must clear the KEA-CET and COMED-K. After counseling based on the merit in KEA-CET and COMED-K, the KEA and COMED-K will allocate the institute.
For Management & Vacant Seats After KEA and COMED-K Admissions:
MMCT undertakes Aptitude, IQ, Reasoning, and Psychometric tests, followed by an interview. The final selection and admissions are subject to the discretion of MMCT.

College Infrastructure
The collage infrastructure is quite good and having pretty simple and safe environment spacing everysort of block and department are present and keeping in brain the washroom facilities are good and great infrastructure.
