Mangalore Marine College and Technology (MMCT). It is an AICTE-recognized institution in Mangalore, Karnataka. MMCT has a full-fledged admission system for engineering programs to give an equitable and fair chance to deserving candidates. MMCT offers three full-time engineering programs, BE in Marine Engineering, BE in Mechanical Engineering, and BE in Computer Sciences Engineering. MMCT's admission procedure usually starts after the completion of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET).

These exams hold supreme importance for students interested in securing seats through the government quota. Regarding their application schedule and examination dates, students are advised to check the official website of both entrance exams. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to engineering programs of MMCT are completed 10+2 or equivalent with compulsory subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.E. Marine Engineering: MMCT offers 120 seats for the program. Admission for this course is based on candidates' performance in KCET or COMEDK UGET. The college also conducts its own admission process for management quota and vacant seats which include Aptitude, IQ, Reasoning, and Psychometric tests followed by an interview.

B.E. Mechanical Engineering: The college has an intake of 45 seats for the program. Admission procedures are similar to that for Marine Engineering except that the examination needs to be either KCET or COMEDK UGET for the government quota seats.
