The Electronics Engineering program offers an entry into the world of smart devices, semiconductor technologies, intelligent electronics, and advanced hardware systems. Designed to meet the growing demands of the global electronics and semiconductor ecosystem, the curriculum covers analog and digital circuit design, semiconductor devices, embedded systems, VLSI technologies, instrumentation, and intelligent automation, equipping you to turn ideas into impactful technological solutions. From the second year, you build on this foundation through one of two specialisations. VLSI Design and Technology develops expertise in semiconductor and chip design, covering integrated circuits, FPGA-based systems, fabrication, verification, and testing. Instrumentation Engineering covers sensors, transducers, process control, and smart monitoring systems for industrial automation and Industry 4.0.

You will gain practical exposure through modern laboratories, industrial training, internships, and research projects. The choice of specialisation is made before the start of the second year, with allotment based on your CGPA at the end of the first year. Opting for a specialisation is mandatory, and the one you choose will be named on your degree, for example, B.Tech in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology). Additional specialisations may be introduced.
